"Post Acute Withdrawals Syndrome"(PAWS)

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Freeddom_Taker, Dec 17, 2018.

  1. Anyone went through Post Acute Widrawals Syndrome in their no PMO journey? If so, feel free to state how long the process last...

  4. I wonder the same thing. I am doing Iboga TA on January the 4th 2019. It supposed to reset the chemistry in the reward center, thereby eliminating PAWS. I will report back on the process!

    Day 200+

Physical withdrawals ended 30/60 days ago. Psychologic withdrawals are still there.

  6. I'm curious about that answer too.

265 day and still have paws, but it’s better definitely. I feel that I am starting to come back to living.

  8. Wow that is scary but at least I know ahead of time. What are your PAW symptoms?

Anxiety, depression, brainfogs. These most often.

Thanks, Man! It's very nice for me, especially because it was not easy for me to leave pmo. If my posts helps someone, that's great.:emoji_pray:

I've recently started to feel more emotions. I look at women completely differently. It's a beautiful thing, come back to live. I love life.

250+ days and feel like im just coming out of the heavy PAWS symptoms. For me my symptoms clear up for around 3 hours at lunch time every day. I feel almost cured during this period but then they return after. Strange but better than complete hell 24/7

  13. What are the paws you are still dealing with?

    - Social anxiety
    - Depression every now and then (not so bad now)
    - Bad memory
    - lack of motivation
    - tiredness/fatigue
    - ear ringing (although almost gone)
    - high sensitivity to stress
    - very vivid dreams
    - lack of joy/excitement in life (varies, sometimes not too bad)

  15. Strange, I got something similar too, but my symptoms clear up, or I would say i feel better after 5-6 pm, for few hours. I do not got much symptoms 1-2 days before exams. Never pmoed before exams while I was active addict, my brain maybe somehow remembers that still.

  16. I feel clearer, a bit happier. But for me it has been the arousal aspect. Absolutely no libido at all. I only felt it once after hungover the next morning and it felt like I had been cured for a short while, felt like I could of fucked myself silly that morning.

Once I get my throbbing diamond cutters and my sex drive back I’ll be on my way.

Edit; I think maybe another year for me in recovery who knows. I feel a hell of a lot better than I have done in years though so there’s that.

  17. I ended up not doing iboga. Some other horrible things have happened in my life so I couldnt do it. Also heard people losing their eyesight and other horror stories. I keep on going like this and suffer from PAWS. Hang in there soldiers.

  18. Smh Paws symptoms make a comeback...Feeling so abnormal and angry. Oh God why I put myself in this situation? Wanna enjoy myself but can't as I see other people do...
