In long term you want to quit porn forever and the right time to start is now. Its good if you define your goals exactly and make realistic goals like try to abstain for two weeks or whatever time you feel confident of being able to achive. However, just because you "finished" a challenge doenst mean you can allow a relapse on purpose. If you finished the 2 weeks challenge go for the 4 weeks challenge without relapsing in between. Its not about how many days you can abstain from porn, its about quiting porn. If you over and over allow yourself to relapse after a defined period you will never cure.

Also now that I’ve thought about it. What’s the point of the challenge if you can’t reward yourself with pmo. I know that sounds bad as Pmo is not a reward but whenever I do a challenge of any sort I expect a reward

Your goal should be to quit porn, you do challenges to feel achievements. Of course you can and should reward yourself for abstaining a certain amount of days, but just not with PMO. A alcoholic who rewards himself with alcohol for abstaining a certain time will for surely just binge and wont get rid of his addiction. I reward myself with cigars or with food, but trust me nothing feels better than breaking a new NoFap week record.

Quitting porn for the rest of your life sounds like a huge thing, especially if you have a strong urge. If this appears, tell yourself you don't necessarily need to quit PMO forever, but you surely will quit for *insert number* days. Also a challenge makes our progress more noticeable. However, like I said, you can have 50 or 300 days on your counter, it just matters that you cure yourself.

I dont know how bad your addiction is, you can write me a PN and tell me something about your addiction if you want a personal opinion. But its completely normal for an addict that he cant just do 90 days. But remember, every journey starts with a first step. In the past 7 days without PMO were a lot for me too, nowadays 7 days arent much anymore. You will progress just as I did. It will not be easy, but remember it will be worth it.

Ive been PMOing for 8 years mainly once a day, sometimes I can go a week without doing PMO but then desperate urges come back. How many days do you think it will take me for a reboot (90 days?)

if you have PIED then itll take longer than 90 days.
if you don't, its likely to take less. when I was around 40 days all I could think about is shagging my gf. didn't want to watch porn at all. This time im gonna actually be able to see her so I'm getting 40 days then having so much sex I never want to go back to porn.

Just stick at it bro. put things in place to prevent relapse. day by day. good luck

I don't have PIED. However due to my religion I cannot have any sort of sexual partner outside marriage so desires grow without me being able to relive them. btw thanks for the words of encouragement:)

Try to set a permanent "scale"(day limit) in your mind, and if you accomplished e.g. three days, then add one day to your scale. Even if you failed this goal there is nothing to worry about because you are learning from your failures never forget this when you fail. If you failed before your day limit that you set up as a scale, then try to do it again and again until you complete those three days or whatever you set on your own. Greetings from germany and good luck!
