Check-in for Day 12. No hassles and loads of work to keep me busy.

  3. Nope - Europe.
I wanted to correct your wording - no you did not fuck up your goals you fucked up your mind first with all this porn and kinky stuff and made it your reality. Now it's the time to declutter your mind and get a new grip on your life.

Checking in - Day 32, feeling low energy and pain in the lower back (these days of the month) but staying motivated. Keeping off social media really helps me to stay away from all these artificial stimuli incl porn. I have been chatting with a few guys recently (one of them is on nofap) and sometimes we touch kinky stuff though superficially - no nudes or things like that. So I think I have to stop these themes as well - anyway these text-only guys aren't serious after all. This will only make my brain more bs-free.

Jan 13th, day 8, no PMO :) Had serious and unexpected emotional turbulence for no reason during the day, pushing me towards all forms of immediate gratification, but managed to change my state and move on. Very successful day.

Checking in Day 13/90, Still going strong No PMO, definitely agree with reducing use of social media helps a lot.

  10. Thanks for the encouraging reply! I guess I relapsed because I was snowed in all day and couldnt really leave the house to do much, so I was kinda bored and the urges started creeping up.

  15. Checking in Day 33, no PMO. Will update if I fail to meet my goal during the day. Yesterday I had an urge to get some wine (kids were going crazy all day long) which I presume would have led to drinking some more then maybe watching P and M, luckily, I had none at home and it was not sold in stores at that hour. I've come to the conclusion that with this journey you have to plan very carefully, sleep enough, eat healthily, exercise, log off from all trigerring media around you and preferably abstain from alcohol, caffeine and other stimulants. Which is hard but doable. Anyway, this is a competition thread. So, let's go!
Thanks for your comments - they're very useful and I always read them but not always respond lol :) Other members are also awesome, I really respect the guys who relapse and come here to tell that and maybe to think some more about the reasons which led to the relapse. As the saying goes: Master failed more times than the Beginner ever tried. So I really really respect all of you and I'm proud of you! Stay strong and keep going!
When will this challenge end? After 90 days from its start (Jan 1st)?

  16. Well done! The key is to win over your mind because it is your mind who switches on the urge not the urges themselves.

  17. Hi fleurette,
You're right that we must plan carefully and it takes work. As they say, failure to plan is planning to fail. I'm glad you had the foresight to see where the wine would have taken you. Abstaining from alcohol is pretty key to the challenge because of how much is effects out judgement. We could even recognize that our desire for alcohol is another form of escaping from how we feel. But as someone who used to drink, I do understand the it's-been-a-long-day and I'm going to relax with a glass of wine.

I appreciate your comments and contribution to this thread. No need to respond everyday, but I appreciate when you do.

Yes the challenge will end on April 1st. At that point I'll likely start another one and I might merge the C90 and X90 together.

    alright, LETS GO!!!!!
