Keep Going Back to Favorite Porn Site

For a while now, this is the biggest thing that is getting me to relapse. I have a favorite porn site, a paid site. It comes out with new porn videos every day. What happens is that I can go from a few days up to about a week without porn, but then I get curious about what new videos came out on my favorite site. That's what's been getting me lately. It's like "oh damn what am I missing out on, let's go check!". And honestly, the longer I go without looking, the worse it is when I go back and check, because then there's even more new videos that have been posted over that time and it's more exciting, "oh boy look at all these new videos I haven't fapped to yet!". It's not a good cycle that I've gotten myself in

 

I did try that before, and I do have a porn blocker on my computer. It was effective until it wasn't, I haven't had the blocker active since then. I have not tried giving my password to someone yet, but I do have an accountability partner that I text message regularly, and I trust the guy, so maybe I can give the password to him

You said it’s a paid site? If you’re serious you’ll need to delete your account and block the site.

I tried clinging onto my favorite adult literature site for awhile. I had written one story for the site and had several drafts for other stories. God I really, really, really didn’t want to delete that stuff and kept making excuses not to. But then I realized if I was going to have victory that shit had to go along with the 100+ sex stories I had saved, some I had written but hadn’t posted.

All that shit has to go permenantly. I know it’s easier said than done but it’s one of the keys to victory, no more clinging onto favorite porn sites.

 

Yeah I did have the porn blocker on my laptop and playstation a couple months ago. I kept the password in my desk at work. That system worked well until one evening I gave in and went to my worksite and got my password. After that relapse, I had some discussion on here about how using a porn blocker might not be the best thing because it's too easy to depend on without making the necessary internal changes within oneself. But open to trying it again.

The paid website(s) I mostly use seem to make it difficult to get rid of your porn collection, which seems to stay dormant even while your membership is cancelled or your account deleted.

I have a guitar too that I wish I put more time in to, I sadly don't feel motivated often to play it, even though when I do play, I can tell I'm getting a little bit better at it, which is encouraging, but you are on track with your idea

 

I'm having a bit of a hard time letting go and setting up the porn blocker, but I will give my AP a call

Yeah I guess in this day and age of the free sites that is a bit strange? LOL The videos on my go-to site aren't normally on any of the free sites, the videos on this particular site are what I would call "high end" quality so in my porn-addled brain it has been justified to pay for it. Except that this week I found a site that posts their full videos for free, including the brand new ones. So that takes away any further reason for me to pay this site. Anyways this should all be neither here nor there, but just explaining what's been going on with my distorted thinking processes. I need to block all this stuff (I'll get there)
