    Yeah my main tip is to take the challenges you are committed to seriously. Like this 14 day challenge, if ever you get the urge watch porn, think of how bad you'll feel for having to fail this challenge, and the shame of resetting the counter back to zero. Another tip is to immediately come to this website if you feel the urge, tell us about your day, or something funny or interesting that happened.

    To me it feels great to be able to simply come here and read about other peoples success stories and think 'I want that too', or to tell people about the fact I'm here to get past my urges.

    We can all help eachother, people have different ways of dealing with their triggers. I think that sharing on here instead of watching porn is very powerful, and before you know it you'll be on day 17 or day 90 telling us all about how your desires have faded and you are getting your life back.

    With every day my willpower goes up and my desire to watch porn goes down. I know it'll really suck if I get half way through the year and ruin it in one day; watching my PMO tracking counter goes up makes me feel better and better, my short term memory has already improved massively and so has my confidence. I can now have a real conversation about real things with banging hot women without getting sweaty and weird looking, and that helps my confidence no end. I also find that my mind is becoming less cloudy, I think that's a really good metaphor for how it is. I used to have this crazy brain fog, and it's like it is being lifted and I can see everything a bit clearer. I have a much better relationship with my wife because of this and we discuss real issues, as I'm there in the moment.

    Maybe these effects have nothing to do with abstaining from porn and masturbation, but that doesn't matter. I tell myself that they definitely do and this further compounds my desire to never do it again.

    Thanks alot. Sadly i succumbed to PMO the next day. I couldnt handle the pressure. Or will i say, i chose to give in to the pressure. Even though i'm anonymous, i felt really bad, like i disappointed you guys, even though I've been here for just a few days. Theres so much i want to say but for now. Still reviewing everything that happened and how to be better. All i can say is ... Day 0. 14 days to go.

    Hi everyone!
    My last PMO was on tuesday midnight so i can consider i'm on day 1/14. Today i told about Nofap to my therapist and she encouraged me to Go on with the challenge. I'm married but my wife and daughter travelled a couple hours Ago, so i'm alone this night. It's been years since the last night that I slept alone and didn't ended on PMO, but this time I'll be strong. I'll let the forum open to distract myself keep conscious about any horny signals. Good luck to all of us!

  15. Definitely this helps. Especially the tip that whenever, there is an urge watch P , coming and posting in this forum. The day counter going up is surely a good motivation . The fact there is a forum of folks going through similar challenge and speaking about that really helps. Keep it going. Wish you all the best.
     
  16. Do not give up. Dust up and stand up. Take it only one day at a time. In your mind just say only today I will not watch P. No need to think about the remaining days. One step at a time !! All the best, we all are there going through the same phase. You are not alone.

  17. Day 4/14. I am planning to do some exercise in the morning. Exercising really helps to sleep better.
