My New Years resolution for no PMO was going SO well. Over two weeks!

I must admit I was more lenient, I allowed myself to wank as long as there was no porn. It’s porn I have to issue with not wanking.

Today I relapsed to cams. The absolute main thing I was trying to avoid. I’m gutted and feel so low about it.

My main concern is prior to this reboot, the addiction led to relationship problems. I’d always have in my head that I’d been on cams the night before with my girlfriend and I wouldn’t be in the mood for sex. I’d tell myself that it’s made me not horny and not have enough cum. It was all my mindset. It was overthinking that caused that.

I may have broken my new year resolution but I can’t just stop there. It needs to continue. Everyone makes mistakes, I need to learn from it.

    Onwards and upwards

Wanking is the thing you need to abstain from too! Have you read Your Brain On Porn? If not, download or buy a copy and get your head into the mindset that is setting your off on the wrong path.
I'm 20 days in and it is by no means easy. Each day has flashbacks and hard-ons and triggers to try and trick me, but I know that it is MY BRAIN CHEMISTRY that needs sorting out. One PMO dopamine hit and I'll be back to square one, so for me, it's abstinence all the way for 90 days!
Sex with my wife is all I will allow myself as this is a natural, loving way to care for our relationship... Anything else is not allowed. 90 days of goodness is what is needed to get my mind and its chemistry back in a healthy state (- It might take longer, if so, then so be it!)

  3. It's good that you recognize not going back to square one. Continue the reboot. Now you understand now that you should stay away from cam sites. My best advice is to install a porn block (k9) to prevent yourself from accessing these sites.
