If you want to keep it going, make a list WHY you are doing it.
You have to have a strong WHY to keep it going!!!

    Depends on the person.
I personally wouldn't recommend it. It's super easy to fall back into old patterns once you start to M.

When you KNOW your mind is strong, then try it.
For example, i can do it because i have a goal for life that includes all benefits that come from never watching porn again.
So if i M, i am not at risk of watching anything. And if i decide to let some fantasy in, i make sure that i only use something that includes really slow sex, with eye contact and with a focus on bonding. And i only use the lightest grip possible. I just imagine the situation i want to be in. Where things are going slow with a lot of intimacy.

If you only think that you are having a strong mind, i personally would say its better not to M at all.
Even what i do is highly debateable as well and certainly not recommended for most here.

Yes, but it's risky. I completely agree with @ReclaimedLife. Personally I M without fantasizing about P or anything, I just concentrate on the feeling. I don't do it often, mostly to release the built of sexual tension.

To me, its the feeling that if i dont have sex with a woman soon, a car's muffler starts to become attractive enough if it looks tight enough.:emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing::emoji_laughing:

I concentrate on the sensation of pleasure, it's as simple as that. I'm sorry that's difficult for you to understand.

I used the wrong word, sorry word police. I'm sure you know what I meant. Just in case you don't: It's that feeling like you can't think about anything else but sex because you haven't had an orgasm in a while. @ReclaimedLife gets it, not sure why you don't...It's not addiction, it's nature. P is the unnatural drug/addiction, M is natural (even babies do it). You seem like an extremist, but I get it, you have a deeper addiction than I do, that's why you probably had/have more problems than I did/do. Not everyone is like you. I was just giving my experience. Like you, @GhostWriter, I'm tired of misinformation...
NoFap has different modes, EASY MODE = NO P. That means M/O is ok if done responsibly. Not sure why you don't understand this, you seem like a smart guy, maybe it's just blissful ignorance?

Congrats, OP! But don't make deals with yourself since you decided to give up your old habit.

Doesn't sound like you are...your last post was literally you arguing over it with me...

    https://www.nofap.com/about/
"NoFap is not an anti-masturbation website. A clear majority of NoFap’s users and administrators alike agree that there’s nothing inherently wrong with masturbation. A small number of users may believe otherwise, perhaps due to their moral principles, but find NoFap’s broad-minded approach works better for them than the moralistic focus of “chastity” websites that dot the Internet. NoFap does not encourage lifelong abstinence from masturbation or sexual behavior. Rather, we encourage our users to abstain for a period of time for the duration of their reboots—typically around ninety days. While some abstain for longer periods of time—even for life—most of our users then return to masturbation having freed themselves of the need to use pornography. Our users choose what is healthiest for them and best serves their goals."

    Should I quit masturbation forever?
We don’t advocate that you quit masturbation forever. Most rebooters do return to it. It is a personal choice, entirely.

It is possible to return to masturbation while maintaining a healthy sexuality. Monitor your thoughts during masturbation. Do you feel compelled to masturbate, or do you feel free to choose whether or not to masturbate? Do your fantasies while masturbating feel healthy to you, or not? Do you feel a sense of sexual fulfillment from masturbating, or a sense of regret?

If you feel yourself slipping into a pattern of masturbation that feels unhealthy, especially if you find yourself masturbating excessively and in conjunction with pornography, consider doing another quick challenge to get back on board.
