Great urge to m what should I do? My day 1 is just about to end!

Go work out for a bit, blast some high energy music.

 

write down alternatives to relapsing on scraps of paper and put them in a bowl and do whatever is on the piece of paper you picked up. Draw from this bowl anytime you have uncontrollable urges. Here's some things I have written on my pieces of paper:


1) Clean

2) Watch UFC Fight Pass

3) Watch an episode of a TV I like

4) Read bodybuilding articles/make new training splits

5) Look back at good snapchat/picture/video memories of my girlfriend

6) Meditate

7) Vent my urges and talk to my girlfriend whenever the urges arise

8) Watch a movie

9) Go on NoFap forum and discuss with other forum members

10) Stretch and foam roll

11) Practice ukelele

12) Look at new apartments for upcoming lease

13) Work on my online coding classes


Personally I feel like my mind tends to treat time as an elastic commodity when it wants to look at porn, but inelastic when it wants to do anything else. Basically what I mean by that is, you want to look at porn no matter how little time in the day you have. So if you have the urge to look at porn, draw from your paper scraps, and do whatever it says, even if you probably "don't have time." It will sure as hell beat relapsing. Keep at it champ, trust the process!
