just been diagnosed with pure o (OCD)

    Receiving CBT starting next week.. Happy to finally put a name to my suffering.. Anyone else suffer from OCD? Still staying strong with nofap although the flat lines pretty horrible

    I am battling manic depressive disorder. A different ailment but I can understand what you are goin through.
    Stay strong man. Meds will work on when you stay firm in mind.

    Had some issues a few weeks ago when my oc tendencies (normally not at the level of a disorder) went through the roof along with my anxiety. I went to my doc and he prescribed an ssri, which has done wonders for me. I will probably go to a therapist at some point for cbt, but to be honest the medication seems to be doing a great job.

    I was recently diagnosed with OCD and my current obsession is HOCD themed. Been so miserable. Can't afford to see an OCD specialist but I'm seeing a psychiatrist who is giving me an SSRI and another anxiety med.
