When I was a student I tried to learn german but it was by far too hard to do it. Damn, the grammar was too complicated.

 

I can speak Arabic, French, English, Japanese, Ancient Greek, some German, Spanish and Mandarin...

Well, what other verb would you use? Besides, you haven't proven that XML is not a programming language. I'm not crazy: HTML+CSS is Turing-complete. So despite being a data-description language, they're technically a programming language as well - you'd have to be insane to use them as one but still. Combine that with the fact that you probably say that you 'program' in SQL or HLSL despite neither of them is Turing-complete, you'll have to admit that you can 'program' in HTML and potentially also in XML.

 

@_.._ The verb that I'd use is to write some HTML.

And well, CSS can do @Media-queries, so I guess you could play around with those to make somewhat that looks like a program. But honestly, I'd feel kinda silly to say that I'm about to code HTML. I'm sure you understand.
HTML or XML alone will not make a program though, or at least I can't see how.

By the way, you use any REAL programming-languages?
