    Hi!
For some time now my mind is working better but I still have a problem with it. I feel that it is often difficult for me to focus on something. It especially affects me when I am at university. I have to think and I see that it's harder for me. I consider myself to be quite intelligent but since I have a reboot I sometimes feel like a fool. When I feel good, then I have no problem with thinking. Everything comes by itself. Usually, however, I have to try to focus on a given problem quite strongly. It can also be seen in conversation with people. When my brain works well, then I know what to say. When I feel bad, I don’t know what to say when I’m talking with someone. How to deal with it? Do you have such brain fogs too?

  2. You can have brain fog for many different reasons, could be porn, stress, gluten intolerance, alcohol, coffee, smoking etc. It’s such a fucking nusciance trying to pin it down to what it is though so I’ve decided to give it all up apart from one coffee every other day.

I’ve been drinking coffee every day for a long time so probably that’s the one reason. In spite of everything, I also often experience this without coffee. Do you think it’s normal to experience this because of paws? I’m on 310 day. It’s fucking annoying.

  4. Congrats on 310 days! Is your sex drive came back? Besides brain fog do you have other withdrawal symptoms?

Well, it is not PMO-related brain fog then. Maybe go to the doctor and explore other possibilities.

Not always true, you can have brain fog for a long time if you're quite addicted to PMO.

As you can see, he has rebooted. PMO is not the only phenomena that causes brain fog. We cannot blame everything on it.

Did he finish his reboot? @Big Lebowski, are you still suffering brain fog?

  9. Yes I still have brain fog, unfortunately. Cognitively I’m getting better though. My memory recall is better and I can read a little bit of a book now. It’s been up and down, I’m going through a bad phase at the moment or what you might call a second flatline. I had a brief day waking up the other day with libido. So something is going on. I also cut out booze/Dry January and had a cigar on New Year’s Eve\Day that may of bought a nicotine withdrawal back. Which could explain why I’m also going through a hard month or so, but gradually I am getting somewhere.

  10. Again brain fog can have so many different causes. My mother developed it from stress looking after my grandad with dementia.

  11. Ultimately though many of my earlier symptoms have dissapeared though like the really aggravating ones like the shortness of breath, fight and flight mode anxiety, racing thoughts etc.. That was the damage that I was doing to myself relapsing watch porn, sickening.

I was always going to be a long case I grew up in a stressful household dysfunctional family and used porn many, many times for all different reasons as well. I will be one of these two or more more year cases no doubt and even then if I need longer I don’t care as I done a lot of damage and clearly know that this works because of the difference I have felt since this run of recovery.

I’ve said before my first proper attempt at recovery is when I caught the withdrawal clock quite early now I look back. I had a run of 77 days in 2013 when I was like 19-20 towards the end of it I came out on the other side and things just seemed amazing. I read a book in a few days, colours seemed brighter I also was infatuateded by this girl on the bus, my libido kicked in which I hadn’t had since I was 16, it opened my eyes. But silly old me ended up relapsing over and over again and inevitably pushing recovery back further and further which is why you’re seeing these two year cases and probably even more than that.

It all depends how far you catch this problem and the withdrawals and if you can commit earlier on you will have a shorter recovery time I believe.

  12. Besides common withdrawals, the nerves in my back and lower section were damaged to the point I couldn't stand or walk straight tall. Now it's getting better after every major head pressure and tension throughout... I used to have pain in the belly and back area 1 or 2 years into pmo(2013-2012)but never thought the latter was the issue. I even went to doctor, prescribed medication, nothing work. Not to mention I became needy toward women and couldn't get one. This streak make me realize all those pain I used to go through and some issues I need to work on.

  13. Yea I can relate to the women issue. It’s just typical how porn rewires our brain to look at them as objects when in reality they’re nothing like that. Its the normal things I like in a girl seeing her smile, flirting, playing her hair, tickling her hands the sensual things etc. Porn turned me into a numb object seeking weirdo for a long time. I lost that human primitive mental arousal for many years and when you get a glimpse of it it’s beautiful and you realise how disgusting and a waste of time porn is.

  14. Yep and with brain fog back in and off. When it's off you realize everything is beautiful whether nature, the sun or the opposite sex.

My sex drive came back. Yes, I have other symptoms like anxiety, stress, social anxiety, etc.

I think it can still be caused by pmo. Only recently did I start to feel better. When I was still in pmo or soon after I finished there were moments when my mind worked much better.

  16. If you need to study something with brainfog, you can try reading aloud the study material, should help with the understanding.

  18. If you listen to music, will you able to enjoy it? Or watch a movie?
