Hello,

I'm a 19-year old boy from the United States. I work as a cook at a fast food restaurant and also go to college part time (although I plan to return to school full time in the fall). I've been consuming porn for several years now, starting when I was 13 or 14 with just photos of women, and working my way into video of some very hardcore sex acts. It's gotten to the point that I've honestly become somewhat disgusted with myself. I've never had an orgasm when I wasn't either viewing or fantasizing about pornography. I've also noticed myself steadily needing to view harder and harder sub-genres, and putting off family and academic commitments to view pornography. It still feels surreal to use the word "addict" to describe myself, but I'm afraid that's where I've gotten to.

I've tried to stop watching porn several times on my own and have never been able to, so I'm hoping the presence of a community here for support and accountability can help me finally kick this habit.

Welcome to NoFap. Lot of good people here that are ready to support you along the way on your journey to quitting PMO. I'm a college student too. It's good that we are trying to quit at an early age.

Hey there, i'm a 19 guy myself and i know exactly how hard it is to quit this addiction BUT i also know that it's actually possible and many people here achieved unbelievable streak numbers.

So, i advise you to take a look at the "success stories" section and read some of them to get the motivation you need to start this challenge
Also, make sure to create your own journal in the "under 20" reboot section to track your daily progress.

Thanks to everybody for the encouragement and welcome- I honestly wasn't really even expecting anybody to read this, and was quite surprised to see so many replies when I logged on this evening. I know it'll be still be hard, but I have a good feeling about this time around.
