Hello everyone , I started nofap a week ago. I stopped watching any porn video or any nude pictures.

But I use a website called Quora and there are some posts in which people describe their sex experiences very vividly. Its like sex stories kind of things. I am reading around 3-4 posts per day. But there is no pornographic video or photo there. So , is that harmful?

  2. Yes, it's not your experience. And it produces dopamine.

I had been looking erotic stories everyday before, and then it became my bad habit until it made me relapse afterwards (4-5 days streak)

Good question. Yes, pornography can be spread in any medium or format not just pictures and videos. literature, podcasts..., you name it. if it is explicit and causes arousal than it is absolutely pornography. Ive done similar things and know for myself that it causes just as much of a set back to progress as pictures and vids.
I hope this helps. Good luck bro

    Thanks kishi and Nantz.

Just to ask one more thing sometimes at night when I lie down on bed , I fantasize about having sex with any girl and that also gives me pleasure. I don't watch/read anything external but based on my memories of previous porn , I try to imagine a lot of sexual stuffs. I guess that is also bad and I should reset my counter now. Isn't it?

  5. Your choice.
In my opinion, NoFap is get rid of LUST. But if you have fantasized or have had some activity related to Lust, you should haven’t consider it as relapse.

Next time the dirty thought pop up in your mind, you shall focus on your BREATH and breathe deeply and slowly...
