    I don't have any symptoms but What worries me is I had heart palpitation in the first 2 months of nofap occasionally.

    Hey Man,

    Something that helped me soooooooo much get over all thesymptoms in 2 months is making sure i supply right nutrients for my brain to rebuild new neural connections in my brain. I highly recommend eating a lot of fish (mostly recommend Salmon and Sardines), stay away from processed foods and focus on veggies and fruits. I recommend getting organic leafy greens. Also eat a lot of nuts and seeds. Supplement with Omega 3 (i took a daily dose of 3,000mg), vitamin D (2,000IU), Zinc (took 50mg every day for two weeks then 50mg every 3 days), and Magnesuim (500 mg). Zinc is what we depleted from the body, semen has a very high content of zinc and Zinc is soooo important for the nervuos system and neural connections in central nervous system....nutrition and supplements really have a huuuuuuge impact on recovery, i cannot emphasis it enough.

    This is probably what I needed to hear. I'm on the brink of suicide everyday, the depression. The severe panic attacks. I couldn't get myself to off myself I thought I was going to be permanently fcked. I don't know how to properly navigate through this. Every waking moment is a fight. I suffered through Depersonalization for the first time and it was hell, I lost a sense of who I am, but in a way I know I am killing my old identity.

    Ou yes I am having this shit going on. Very strong pain in my chest. The last couple of pages of my journal are about it. I was even started to be worried about lung cancer (I don't smoke) I Am going to read your message now more properly.

    Holy crap guys I'm going though the same exact thing. My stress levels are critical. I stress so much my job then I'm going mad. Plus I have OCD to boot.

    Im going to think long and hard if I should quit and focus on my mental health. I cant keep living with panic and chaos everyday.

    Same here I'm right behind you 133 days in "monk mode". Depression, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, backpain and joint inflammation are killing me right now. Maybe you should take a look at videos about PAWS. They say it lasts 6-24 months. Two people said it lasted about 8 months, if so you should be OK soon. Who knows... what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. Keep on the good fight.

    Thank you so much for your post, man. I was wondering, did you start noticing hairloss due to PMO? Have you been able to get your hair back after being on nofap? Just curious, and thanks in advance.

    Bro, I hope you are doing well; it's been a while since I last logged in here. Remember me? I was going through PAWS too for months. Just when I started to feel normal again I went and relapsed -_- I fked up. My question is will I experience PAWS again in this new streak?

  15. Yeah you will. You shouldn't relapse when you have PAWS it's like being stuck in a never ending fog of symptoms.

    Hi, good to see you back. No worries about the relapse. Relapses aren't a sign of s failure, just essential part of the recovery. You learn a lot from them, if you listen to yourself. Relapse should be seen as an opportunity to revamp, regroup and to continue. Japanese have a saying: "Fall down seven times, get up eight."
    I don't remember how long was your last streak and how long were you in relapse. All I can tell is my own observation. For me paws repeated. I did around 180-200 days "monk mode" streak (can't remember exactly) in 2017/2018, relapsed to daily binge PMO routine in May 2018 for around 3 months, started quite unserious recovery in August 2018 being on/off binge PMO until January 1 2019, when my current serious "monk mode" started. All I can say, PAWS are back. Very similar to previous streak. But I've learned how to control them better and try not to stress about them too much. That being said, PAWS really don't matter. Just push through the pain and discomfort without self-pity. You have to convince yourself that Mountain has to be climbed, no matter how steep the slope will turn out to be or as Churchill once said: "If you're going through hell, just keep going."

    Very good article about why relapses happen and how to be aware of the dangers: https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/where-science-meets-the-steps/201210/why-relapse-isnt-sign-failure

    I follow Dr. Stephen Ilardi's 6-Step Therapeutic Lifestyle change program to Beat Depression Without Drugs.
    His solution to the problem of addiction is basically complete change of lifestyle, to cure depression/anxieties and that should lead to curing the addiction too:

    Dr. Stephen Ilardi:"We were never designed for the sedentary, indoor, socially isolated, fast-food-laden, sleep-deprived, frenzied pace of modern life."

    Basic steps of this program are:

    1. Physical Activity (Exercise) -> aerobic exercise 5 days a week or more
    2. Omega-3 Fatty Acids -> fish oil, vitamin D, lots of fruits, vegetables, unprocessed food, lots of water
    3. Sunlight -> 10-20 min sunbath a day
    4. Healthy Sleep -> 7-9h regular sleep pattern
    5. Anti-Ruminative Activity -> do something to refocus your thought from negative thinking, cravings etc.
    6. Social Connection -> socialize in real life as much as possible
    7. No MO/PMO/sex -> obviously
