Music and Song Leading To PMO.

It is not proven yet.
But there are some songs with dirty lycris that can lead you to pmo also music releases alot of dopamine i will not reccomend it to much.

 

Music grounds me. Whether it's pop, classical, rock, post-modern, old, new, whatever, it helps me to get through my day.

It doesn't entice me to P or M at all.

I guess that music affects people differently!

 

The way you've framed it, the answer must be no. Certainly Beethoven doesn't hurt me, it only helps.

Perhaps Dirty songs or Dirty music videos specifically would certainly hurt as they ARE porn.

 

True, that. I generally don't watch the videos. I just listen to the music or put it in the background. Most modern videos are mindless, anyway.

 

I think it’s important to realize that PMO isn’t the root problem. The problem is usually an emotional problem and we use PMO as scoping mechanism.

So it makes sense that many things including music could trigger our unsettling emotional problems and make us want to escape into PMO.

This has been my experience

 

Yes a lot of music is very sexualized which will make you subconsciously think about sex while listening and for awhile after too. I think this effect is tripled when we’re talking about music videos because there are many triggers inside said videos with many of them practically being porn videos themselves.

 

I see the problem is about the modern songs
Sometimes i had a list of Mo'ing on video clips especially if i know something about a dirty sexual background to the singer
