To be honest, I was searching "Should you quit porn?" just a few minutes ago. I was doubting whether quitting is even be worth it. I was trying to find an excuse to look at P 'just one more time'. But eventually something told me not to, and I came back to good old nofap.com to view success stories and tell myself that it indeed is worth it. And I'm so glad I did, it brought me to this post. Everything you said about yourself before quitting is uncannily relatable, it was almost as if reading about myself (I'm 16, by the way). Now I have a much clearer mind towards quitting porn. Thank you so much @Aviator24, I will follow your suggestions too.

The 'just one more time feeling' will always be there, even after 15 years. It's a trap. The fact you came here and wrote this post shows you're willing to go through this journey and change. Never attempt to search for a reason to quit P, because you'll inevitably find a reason to watch again, whether that reason actually makes sense or not.
Thanks for sharing your post and best if luck buddy

You will do the same as long as you began this journey. Never fall into your urges or give. Ever. Best of luck

Aviator 24, you recommend the book: No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert A. Glover

At the site 37 we read:
"Before Nice Guys can have exciting, passionate, and fulfilling sexual experiences with other people,
they must learn how to have the same with themselves. By taking matters into their own hands — by
practicing healthy masturbation — recovering Nice Guys can change the most basic dynamics that
shape the bigger picture of how they do sex."

!!! Healthy masturbation??? What is this???
Healthy smoking or healthy taking cocaine? Come on!
This author have no idea what is he talking about..

No man think about it like this. The concept of masturbation is not 'bad' because it is natural biological process in our bodies. It is given to us by nature. Smoking or drinking however, is man made. It is synthetic. Get the point? Now it's not masturbation that's bad, it is masturbating TO porn that is bad, because it is porn that fucked us in the head. What the author means is that you need to practice healthy masturbation, in which he means free of porn and fantasizing unrealistic stuff. I hope that makes it a bit clear to you

Aviator24 I do not agree with you. Masturbation is not a natural biological process or behaviour. I think all guys here can distinguish how they feel when they masturbated a day ago! Does it feel healthy, great, fulfilling? NO! Its an act of selfishness, act of satisfying ourselfes without any real loved one woman and puts a shame, guilt in us whatever we try to assure ourselfes after. At least is an result of being not mature. Its just wrong! So according to you masturbation to porn is wrong and masturbation without porn is ok? Tell addicted to alcohol person that one bear is all right and two are not - he knows that this one, the only one, is too much becouse there is no boundary between one and much much more after. The same is with masturbation. If you want to experiment with masturbation go ahead but please do not tell anything like that to us here, becouse we know that is not healthy and even dangerous for our masculinity.

My friend you are not understanding what I am telling you, so I will explain again. For the second time, don't relate drinking alcohol to masturbation. Alcohol is a man made artificial thing, just like smoking, and just like drugs. If a man has to avoid alcohol, I will advise him myself to permanently remove alcohol from his life. Masturbation however is a biological process that is already inside our bodies. You have to differentiate between the concept of nofap(this website) and the concept of masturbation in general.

Masturbating is something already in us humans, and if animals learned how to pleasure themselves they will probably too. I agree with you 100% that it does make you feel tired and lethargic, and it also happens when you masturbate after sex. You're ejecting semen and sperm which contain a lot of body nutrients and vitamins, which the body takes time to produce.

Now I am NOT enforcing people to masturbate alone (because I am not masturbating myself, except if a woman is with me) but since you asked me about the author's note in the book, i'm trying to explain to you that masturbation by itself is not BAD. I agree that it does make you feel shitty the next day, and I avoid it also myself and it's been months since i've masturbated alone, it's one of the best feelings in my life. I hope you understand my point now

To be honest, such statement sounds funny and nothing more. Masturbation is a behaviour. To be more specific its related to our mind, and our immature souls. Do you want to say that if something is in our body / mind it means its natural and not bad? Would you say also cancer is natural becouse its in our bodies and not bad? Of cource it is our choice, name it how you want 'natural', 'pleasurable' or inherited, hovewer this marvelous site Nofap gives us the idea how to make a better choice.

Cancer is not a voluntary behaviour that you choose to do. It suddenly erupts in your body due to some uncontrolled behavior in the cells of the body. Meanwhile masturbation is a conscious decision to put your hand down there and rub yourself till you blackout if you want. I honestly don't know if thousands of years ago our ancestors invented it by themselves out of our 'immature souls' as you said. Probably. You might be very correct. Either way and again, I am not re-enforcing men to masturbate and I encourage them to do it only if a woman is there. I stated it clearly in my post

Thanks for this post and topic, I think you've made a great job here.
I've found point 6 in your suggestions relating to our limiting beliefs, which I am working on.
    I wish you the best.
