Knight 418 days without masturbation

Discussion in 'Self Improvement' started by Knight7tranquility, Feb 23, 2015.

  1. Hello I call myself Knight and have lived eighteen winters. I didn't masturbate for 418 days. And yesterday 2/22/15 I let myself masturbate without pornography.I haven't masturbated to pornography since Dec 24th, 2013. And I know now my strength and I have a deep intuition in my soul that tells me that I can knowingly go twice, three times and four times as long without masturbation.

I am winning my battle against pornography use. I've been on a rollercoaster of progress and relapses. I haven't masturbated to pornography since Dec 2013. But I've watched it and seen nudity and naked erotic images and I consider those relapses. And they've been very very very painful and depressing. Its officially been a month and twenty five days since I haven't viewed pornographic videos and images. Yesterday 2/22/15 I downloaded 29 videos from Youtube that talk about Anti Pornography and I've been listening to them on my ipod.
I was against making a NoFap account, yet it is so highly advised in the reboot process.

I'm also eradicating sexual erotic literature.

I might as well. I will be free of all things.

    We all have limitless strength.

and the temples of his gods." -The Lays of Ancient Rome

You are an inspiration to me man! I'm on 99 days and if a brother can go for 418 days then I know I'm on the right track...

    I'll keep going myself!

    Oh yes, lets do this.

    *Deep Breaths* wooooh, alright!

418 days and you're 18, that is seriously inspirational. As a newbie here (like what 20-mins since last now-i-hate-myself PMO?) its really good to see someone who's around my age can actually pull it off over a year. I am a bit worried about long term healing as I'll be finishing university this summer for good and feel scared. But again its something that must happen because after reading about this on the forums I see half the bad habits and addictions in my life are essentially a convoluted yet connected mess that is the cause of my hidden depression.

Road to recovery is far but we'll all get there :)

  12. @ Rising_Up Thanks for your support!
The power of the mind is limitless.

You're like all of us; improving ourselves and our lives one step at a time.
We're all brothers here and the most beautiful thing is that no one judges each other.

Stay strong! I believe in you.

    Rise up!

  13. To AG71: I know you can do this. We've all worried about how long our streak will last and if we'll have the strength to continue and how we'd be able to live with ourselves after we relapse and hell and depression and suicidal thoughts break lose.

Road to recovery tips: take up something that is expressive and rehabilitating; art, drawing, music. Condition yourself by setting goals to get stronger and to have a more supple mind, body and energy. Meditation, exercise, and reading.

Hopefully that helps. We're all in this together my brother.

    Knight.
