I'm pretty sure this report is out there, but I'm going to make a thread. Some of you might have read it, but I feel it needs to be addressed. Enjoy reading! Here's the link: https://www.researchgate.net/public...rain_Erectile_Dysfunction_and_Sexual_Violence
The science is there. It just needs to be seen by the public. How? I don't know. The Porn industry is worth billions of dollars.
Hey, I found another one. The article is kinda hard to read, however. But the information is still good. https://www.researchgate.net/public..._Analysis_of_Consumption_and_Sexual_Relations
found that among Greek adolescents, exposure to sexually explicit material fosters ‘‘unrealistic attitudes about sex and misleading attitudes toward relationships."
H1 Higher use of pornography will be positively associated with sexual insecurities. H2 Higher use of pornography will be positively associated with increased reliance on pornography to obtain/maintain sexual excitement. H3 Higher use of pornography will be positively associated with integrating pornography with sex. H4 Higher use of pornography will be negatively associated with the enjoyment of intimate behaviors during sex with a partner. Explains everything right there. I read that in the article. Look at this NoFap website for a moment. Someone is going thru one of these.
I did find someone who has a Ph.D. and supports the porn industry. I read her article but her arguments were so bland and completely misleading that this article would blow it out of the water.
I found something too. Concerning mental health regarding PMO. This was an interesting read. https://www.researchgate.net/public...phy_Viewing_and_Depression_Anxiety_and_Stress
I found the article, you are talking about. I read it. She doesn't think that objectification of women is a bad thing as long as the husband is satisfied in the relationship. Well, the only problem with that porn objectifies women. Just read the titles of some of the vids on these sites. You would know what I mean. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/330025644_Porn_Is_for_Masturbation
Porn isn't just a guy problem. https://www.researchgate.net/public...ed_to_Body_Image_or_Relationship_Satisfaction
Damn. Just found this. Written by another guy with a Ph.D. It's regarding early exposure to porn for young heterosexual adults. Scary stuff. https://www.researchgate.net/public...Online_Survey_among_Young_Heterosexual_Adults
Found a sample regarding adolescent pornography use and dating violence among lower-income youth. https://www.researchgate.net/public...ck_and_Hispanic_Urban-Residing_Underage_Youth
It's worth noting that this isn't just an issue in America. It's global. https://www.researchgate.net/public..._among_Male_Migrant_Workers_in_Southern_India
I found an article that has over 40 years of research on Pornography Use. Any Pro-Porn advocate would change their mind after reading this. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/328541291_Pornography_and_Impersonal_Sex
Found another written by the same guy. https://www.researchgate.net/public..._A_Meta-Analysis_Pornography_and_Satisfaction
That same guy did a study on Fraternity men and college rape. There were more likely to rape a girl when they previously watched porn. https://www.researchgate.net/public...nd_Behavioral_Intent_to_Commit_Sexual_Assault
This article was an interesting read. It talks about how an individual's use of porn can affect their transition into adulthood. https://www.researchgate.net/public...aphy_Acceptance_and_Use_Among_Emerging_Adults
Don't fight the porn industry. Their economic influence on the world is substantial, including the United States. Just do NoFap and pick up some positive habits. Don't count the days, make the days count-Muhammad Ali (Note: Links could contain triggering content for some, there's no porn) Link to articles: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/porn-could-bigger-economic-influence-121524565.html https://medium.com/@Strange_bt_True/how-big-is-the-porn-industry-fbc1ac78091b
You can disregard anything written by this author. She has been attacking Gary Wilson (author of "Your brain on Porn") as well as the creator of this site and rebootnation.org for years on baseless claims that they stalk her. She also has ties to the P industry. She attempted to replicate a study at one point to show that watching P had no negative impact on the brain, but her own study proved otherwise. She still disregarded her own data and published it anyway. She was called out and has attacked anyone and everyone who goes against her work. She also told someone that if they felt P was morally wrong that they could hire an escort instead. This person came to her to get help with his P addiction. She is an awful person. You can look up Gary Wilson and Gabe Deem on Twitter (unless social media is off limits for your own recovery) to verify what I said.
