Accountability Groups?

Hey NoFappers,

I was wondering if there were any accountability groups on these forums, rather than simple partnerships. I tried having an AP a long time ago when I quit for the first time, and it felt like both a lot of pressure on you to be reliable for them, and I’m pretty sure my partner was not always reliable for me. Having a group would definitely be more beneficial on both fronts.

And I know that NoFap in itself is a group, but it is so large that it can feel as though there is nobody listening to you sometimes. I remember from my first time here that having some people following my progress pushed me on to overcome PMO (for a couple of years, at least.) It would be nice to have that again, but in a group situation.

I’m not sure. By the looks of it, there are some on the Accountability Partners forum, and that would be the right place to go. However, what would’ve really helpful is getting some advice on how it’s done, as I have no idea.

 

Try the Accountability Partners forum for this. A little searching myself led me there, but as I have specific needs for the times I’m in need of help, I found it would probably not be useful for me, even less so for the partner I’d be landed with.

Also try writing a personal journal in the relevant forum, and definitely read through the advice here, people’s stories, and all kinds of threads regarding how to navigate the forums and how to be successful. There’s a lot to take in, but take it in, because it will convince you that you’re doing the right thing.
