So Pornhub are actually advocating wanking......

From a marketer's perspective: This is a brilliant way to keep people hooked on the site. From a guy who doesn't watch porn and has seen through 100s of threads what it can do: This is going to just keep promoting that regular masturbation is a positive thing and so is watching porn. Which just shackles the chain a little tighter on those in an endless cycle of this addiction.

alternatively, the wank band can be like a widget/ reminder about how much you've been fapping your energy away which could actually be used for other meaningful things in life.. maybe people think powering your phones, and tablets, is a meaningful thing in itself.. god save the world...

That video feels like something The Onion would produce, and it's pretty gross that pornhub is trying to say their awful product is good for the planet.

But to their credit, the idea itself, a wearable item that creates power as you move, is a pretty good idea. I mean, assuming the energy can be stored in the band and transferred to a device later, someone could create electrical energy while running, or doing jumping jacks, or whatever. Someone should take this idea, and market it to athletes. Hell, put it on your ankle and you'll be creating energy throughout your workday.

 

A device you strap onto your penis that uses the wanking motion to create electricity
