I have stopped watching porn for some time now. Every couple of months I will maybe look at an old site that has my specific fetish available. I don't really consider it a problem in my life anymore. Since I started a relationship I swore off porn since I am familiar with the damage porn can cause to a relationship. But I do have an Instagram account where I follow accounts of IG models. These pictures are not allowed to show nudity or else they will be removed from site moderators. But they range from pictures of women in VERY risqué lingerie to women bending over while wearing thongs. Some might show part of the nipple but not the whole thing. These women are very well endowed. I don't masturbate to these pictures and they don't show nudity or sexual intercourse. I find myself biting my lip with a primal urge when looking at some of these pictures. I am wondering if these pictures should be considered porn or not????

  2. If they are giving you primal urges and causing you to edge they are the same as porn to your mind, at least for now.

It's porn, in a milder form. The question you need to ask yourself is, why do you have the need to look at random women online? You're only feeding your addiction by producing arousal to your brain. I started abstaining from everything a while ago, and I can't understand why I ever wasted time on looking at some random women's pictures. Like what do I get from it? Absolutely nothing. Let's not be fools and submit to mediocrity. Let's chase something greater.

Instagram thottery is fapbait. That's what those Thots want you to do. Don't give them that power.

I see what you mean about the primal urges. I just feel its a little healthier to look at a women in lingerie in a seductive pose and have these feelings than to look at pornography and have them. I don't masturbate or edge to these pictures. I save all that for my girlfriend. I do get ideas of how to dress my girlfriend up when I see a lingerie or panties that I like.

It's a softcore form of porn in my opinion. Why would someone make a habit of looking at instagram models if it wasn't to sit there and drool over how sexy they are? It's just another form of addictive, passive-consumer type behavior where you try to get pleasure out of a fantasy on a computer screen. Not something that I want to spend my life doing.

I used to ask myself the same question. I would cut out porn, but my fetish is big mutant steroid enhanced bodybuilders; I can get just as lost and high going to a professional bodybuilder site. It isn't just the images, it's what my fantasies do with those images that make them off limits.

  11. That's exactly it, what ever is getting to you, that is the porn to you, now.
In the future you may be able to handle things normally and they won't affect you. If they still do, avoid them. Time and work brother.

My thought is it risks you having images to work worth in case you find yourself with urges. They are not naked on Instagram but they can sure be naked in your mind. It may not be an issue now but it's possible it could cause issues later. And as said above by Ra's Al Ghul if you give them the attention they are looking for it's an issue. My thoughts on it is even if you dont have a problem giving them support I showing off their bodies might help expand their reach and get to people who might get urges from these women and relapse.

Well if you are getting triggered thn you should definately stop looking at em and its not even close to porn but then refrain coz tht cud lead to relapse , instead look at workout videos and stuff

IMHO the very fact that you are asking the question shows that you already know the answer... I would stay away from it.

The old addiction is fading and a new one of IG models is sprouting so quickly that it might awaken the old ine

This sounds exactly like what I have experienced: I gave up hard porn more than two years ago, then moved on to naked pics only, but managed to give that up too. Then it was Instagram and Facebook creeping, and I have realized that even if not fantasizing about those pics it is still an addiction and is harming my relationship. I was fooling myself and betraying my wife.
Since discovering this site I have committed to eradicating ALL pics of pretty women of ANY sort, and hoping that the 90 day commitment and hard reboot will help me get rid of this scourge once and for all.

Porn is Porn even if you cloak it with clothing or soften it up ... porn that is intended to be porn is one thing but things we are triggered by or possibly tempted by can be something entirely different.

It doesn’t mean you won’t see it. It’s EVERYWHERE but a true reboot and a true desire to be free of porn (for me personally anyway) will mean I won’t just drool like a Pavlovian dog when I see it and start the “clicking game.” and within 3 minutes end up on a Porn tube site. Or on the lighter side I won’t rationalize the “innocent stuff” that if I’m honest I KNOW ISN'T “INNOCENT!!” (At least not for me) Because of my motivation behind looking at it.

But it’s ultimately how you personally respond to it (or might respond to it) that is your honest answer. If it’s porn in any way to you then you know it is.

I had some pics of old girlfriends from online (FB, Google, Pinterest, etc.) tucked away in my phone - how ridiculous of me. I deleted them since I started my Nofap journey. Because when I decided to be honest with myself I knew why they were in my phone where no one else would see them. (They weren’t porn they were just pretty pictures of old girlfriends....)

So really you have to answer that for yourself with honesty. Then you’ll know....

For me it was a matter of my intent and my wanting to have integrity as I really try to break this porn addiction. But that is just me being honest with myself and now you about it. I truly want to change this and become a better person. This is a very big challenge for me but I hope to make 90 days then 6 months then the rest of my life.....

    Good luck on your goals!
