Maybe not I guess but I identify with her most of the times - I like to spread my light and I feel appalled by this straight way to hell suggested by porn. Mere destruction of humanity and pure evil.
P.S. I mean I was addicted to porn and even being promiscuous to men, some of them married, in the past, sexting, webcams, perverted sex, group sex, you name it. But while doing all of this I always had a feeling that I was wasting myself, killing the time. Now I realized that my time here is precious and the mere probability of me happening to be born here is so tiny that I need to begin to value that as well as to value my body and not just waste it. We all are so much more than just lustful creatures. Here and now is what matters the most.

 

Yes - the prize is freedom and authentic life. Do you want your addiction or porn decide your life path? Keep yourself busy and stay grounded, if urges won't let you go - wash them away with cold shower, beat them in the gym, run them away, do WHATEVER IT TAKES - remember we're all not just standing there and telling the enemy go away - we are doing something actively to resist it, so let's share our fighting tactics. There's really nothing sacred for porn makers in my opinion, there's even porn available on pregnant women and lactating women - and yeah I used to watch that but I know for sure a pregnant woman won't gladfully commit to showing herself being in this vulnerable state to the whole wide world. There are so many abused women down there - and men - and I just feel sorry for all of them. Let's reiterate a bold no to this porn business!

 

My whole life I’ve had problems with drugs, alcohol; infused with sex and women. I put an end to drugs and alcohol coming up to 5 months. Since I was told to stay away from women in the beginner stages of my recovery because they were my triggers; I got deep into porn. Now I am strong enough to get off the porn and be happy in my own skin; addictions free.

Other wise I got my life dialed in, this is the last thing on my menu to become the elite.

Another awakening soul! I'm not into spiritual things but I am so happy for people who dare to say no and challenge themselves - given the temptations of the addiction and of the whole society and environment encouraging it. This is very brave indeed.
How about sex and women? Looks like it is still an addiction for you - remember you have to control it as well. I know that because I am a love addict and my attachment style is that of anxious avoidant. On bad days I feel urges either to binge on eating (luckily I'm working with that - I've got eating disorder developed as a response to being raped years ago) or text/sext/meet men in order to just get my "drug" (connection to men which I later use as a tool to manipulate them - probably as an unconscious revenge to that rapist I believe as it has always been hard for me to O with a partner after that because of memories inside the body). I have decided to consciously abstain from any new relationships including casuals for at least six months to get my shit together.

 

Thank you I appreciate those supportive words. If you know it’s bad and life is becoming unmanageable you admit the problem and find away to fix it.

I also am a love addict as well, as I left my home when I was young. This lead me to have die hard chaotic relationships, which I enjoyed because i felt chaos was love. Though after being sober for close 5 months, I feel I don’t need someone around that’s crazily infatuated in love with me because now I truly love myself. Though I feel ready to date again now, I’m in no rush. I just want to be ready when I want to and not the porn controlling my mind.

Binge eating was an outlet of mine too! Now I follow a regiment and today was my cheat day where I went off on pizza and donuts lol

I’m sorry you had to endure that pain but that is your story when you make it out alive. You did what you had to do, because you felt that was right but now you know it’s wrong and your making a change. That’s what fucken matters!

Keep killing it and your story today really helped me to stay another day on track. Crazy to meet people on the internet with similar problems, that support each other!
