    Hey Guys,

I failed after 62 days of no porn. The longest time for me without porn has been 104 days; I was hoping to beat that record; however, porn subjugated me this time.
I take 99% of the responsibility for my failure, but would like to say 1% may be because of an iPhone (my first ever smartphone) I bought few weeks ago. I have to be more careful now.

    Feel hopeless.

    Best,

Hey there! I'm sorry for your failure but I just wanted you to know that the only reason we fall is to get back up again...be patient and you'll get through it

64 days and 104 days still good runs, not a failure.

Not a failure I would say. Just an unsuspected stop. 64 is amazing. I think it's extremely important that we don't think of ourselves as failing when we can't make it to the number of days we have set our minds to cause then you can expect to fail a lot the rest of your life. Your round was just over and now you have to try to do better next time. Again, 64 is amazing and 104 days is crazy good!

Feel hopeless, really? You should be proud, you only failed 2 times in 166 days, nearly 1/2 a year - That's outstanding!

Be proud, move on, learn from your fail, and start over. You can do this, good luck to you and thanks for the post.

Not a failure at all, but a lesson in disguise. To be more smart , the next time

Just try to analyse, how you did this. It must surely have a pattern

    trigger--> urge-->fight to stop the urge-->giving in to the urge-->performing the ACT-->aftermath :)

Every mistake is a lesson man! You seem to realize where you went wrong, so get back up and try again with the knowledge you've obtained. You've got this!

64 days is an awesome streak! Out of the last 2 months you have only had 1 misstep. That's great Man!
One thing that might help is getting rid of the Safari browser on your phone and installing the Mobicip browser. It has been tremendously helpful for me. You can block websites and even specific search phrases.

64 days is AWESOME man! You should be proud of yourself for that achievement! Unless you count the first 13 years of my life, the longest I've ever managed was about a month and a half! We learn from our mistakes, and we keep going! You got this man! You can do it! We're all behind you!

  12. Oh man I feel for you. I got to around 701 days first time and the blew it on Facebook. That's pretty amazing you got to 104 days though. I hope I can get that far in the future.

iPhone's are tough to deal in terms of NoFap due to a lack of customizability, but I do know there's a parental mode that blocks a majority of NSFW content. Don't just look back and say "Oh, it will never happen again", take action now just in case.

For Android users: Get K9 Web Browser or "Safe Browser" and replace Google Chrome with it. I personally keep my defaults on my phone, since it doesn't really encourage me to relapse.

All these people are saying, "Awesome job" to make you feel better about yourself. While it was an awesome job, you're in a very dangerous point right now. Not all is lost. Make sure you do not do this shit again.

    Get back on track.

  16. Seeing your counter reset may make it feel like you have lost all of your progress, but that's false. You took 64 steps forward, one or two back, and the awesome thing to realise is that having a smartphone is a new challenge for you - which means it is an opportunity for you to grow! Progress is not linear. Next time you get an urge to look at P on your phone, and you overcome that urge, you will have make a leap of progress. Your 104 streak tells me you definitely have it in you to do it man! You did the right thing posting about it here. Be kind to yourself, and keep moving forwards, you are doing yourself proud!!
