    My name is CruzanImpact and I guess I am joining because I heard this was the place to try out for those addicted to porn. Looking to grow out of this grasp porn has on me, and striving for fellowship within this community. Hello, all who read this!

    Thank you daniel193. I have been dealing with this addiction for 6-7 years now. I have always known it was not good but, decided it was a form of release and it helped me escape reality for the time being lol. I appreciate the greeting and hope to grow in this community eventually.

    Yeah I think there are plenty of guys here who have used porn to escape reality, I certainly have. In fact I used it as a way to escape unhappiness and dissatisfaction with my life, and then found I couldn't cope without it. It's a slippery slope but I feel like I'm on the right path now.

    I'm pretty new to this but I've found that reading the forums here really helped me to start my journey. I hope it does it the same for you.

    To "escape unhappiness and dissatisfaction" is definitely relatable. I'm cheering for you and your journey to become a better you & thank you.
