nofap = no sex ?

Hi,
I just want to get a clear understanding of what NoFap is all about ? I assume that this community is here to promote the reduction (erasure ?) of PMO. So no more masturbation while watching porn and reaching orgasms. Fine. Still, I would understand that NoFap does not come down to having no sex at all ?

So I guess my question is: If a guy relies on PMO or MO as his only sexual activity, what happens after nofap is enforced ? Currently in mindset this equates to having no sexual activity at all. I mean, here I am today having all this orgasms while masturbating, and then here I am not masturbating --> ie. not orgasming --> ie. having no sexual context in my life whatsover.

And here is where the best part kicks in, I would just really love if someone could verify this line of thinking. Who said nofap equates to no sex ? I mean there are all these women out there that are potential sex partners. So who said it ? Right. Me. Myself. Only me.

That's the catch. I'm 37 year old guy who is so whooked on masturbation-orgasm scenario that this has paralyzed my ability to get any sort of relation going with a women (see Newbie section for more details in my description).

Having found this community I really believe that I can finally begin starting changing my mind set. As in: masturbating = no sex. Nofap -> sexual desires are still there -> maybe it's time to look for a girlfriend ?

Also, I'm wondering how are the guys who have never had a girlfriend are coping with starting NoFap ? I mean like I said. One day you are doing all this "goodness" to yourself, viewing loads of sexual material, climaxing and orgasming. And the other you are left ALL insanely ALONE in your EMPTY room. No porn. No women. No sexual context in my life. Only left with all the images in your head, rumbling about. How do you guys cope ? Any stories ? Does going from PMO to nofap for a guy who has had really few relationships with women or no relationships at all, help focus on getting a girlfriedn ?
