Government introducing porn site age verification

    As the title
    I just heard on the swedish radio that they are introducing age verification to access porn on the internet.

    I am very happy that this is happening!
    But i want to say that this does not solve the problems we are having.
    But it will reduce the risk of younger generations falling into porn addiction!

    Well, it is foolish to expect porn to stop existing at all, so any win in ensuring children don't succumb to it is a plus in my book.

    Do you have any more info? Like how exactly this will be done? Is it something that's happening or being proposed or just an idea? Is it enforced by government or do they expect all porn sites to just adopt this policy?

    To me it doesn't seem possible. But then again we have no informatipn

    Wait. Your title says it's government so I am against it. And it could only be Swedish gov so idc what they do. But not in America

    They only decided that they are going to make a law that the sites will need age verification or suffer the consiquences (whatever they may be)

    Everything is possible! the likelyhood of it happening is another story.

    And the main reason the government is interfaring and making all these laws, is because of parents not raising theier children because they think that is schools jobb.
    If you know how to make parents turn off thier TV, Puting away thier phone and spend all thier time with thier kids during thier growing up i would love to know.

    I'm happy over this because it is raising awareness and even the government consider it as a problem.
    In short it is a step in the right direction.
