I'm Ready. Finally.

    I'm not good with introductions, but that is something I hope this journey will help.

    For starters, I was never addicted to hard-core pornography. I was (am) addicted to the types of images one would find on an Instagram model's page. Why it is that type of pornography I became addicted to, I am not sure. (Maybe because it was more grounded in reality, as I wasn't actually going to see a naked woman in reality.) I have been going on and off with NoFap since around January 2018 (my record is 15 days), but this is the first time I've engaged in a forum. I used to think I was above it- strange how I could have such a massive ego and no confidence at the same time.

    The reason I want to do this now- and for real this time- is because over the last few months I realized how off the pace I am in regards to social interactions. I am an extremely introverted and shy person. I want to be able to be a "normal" person (at least) in conversation. If I can achieve that... it would be my greatest achievement. I know that might sound strange, but understand that I become extremely nervous just having to go and fill my car up with gas. However, I think this journey (in my case) is going to be less about becoming braver towards True Reality, and more about getting away from My False Reality- a place that treasures porn, despair, remorse, depression, a certain degree of self-harm, and Complete and Utter Jealousy. I cannot live in that place anymore.

    To close this post, I have a question for the NoFap Legends out there (anyone who has made it to 30 days is a Legend in my books). What should I do if I get an urge after exercise? I try to run everyday, but sometimes I will get an urge a few hours post-workout. Would you suggest a hot bath, cold bath, maybe more exercise, or something entirely different?

    Well I did it for more than 30 days by the way and I have one question for You too , do you exercise just because it's a regulated thing or you exercise to actually achieve some goal if you are doing it for some goal then I will ask you to increase the intensity and repeatation of your workout and for the post workout thinng you should go with cold shower for sure.

    Some other thing that I will suggest you to do is to maintain a journal type of thing whenever you have thoughts of searching porn and doing masterbation you should write that thing down and you should count at the end of the day that how many times it was just your imitating mind that you need that masturbation. And the funny part is most of the time it is you imitating mind and rarely, as we are human beings rarely we have the bodily urge to do some fapping. The frequency may vary from person to person but mostly this once a week type of thing and the good thing is you can still overcome the physical urge too.
