    Hello,

I'm here because I hate masturbation so very much. I think masturbation is a traitor, because it promises me relief and pleasure, and after orgasm I feel some pain. Masturbation betrayed my trust.

I'm currently reading the NoFap book, even if I somehow know what NoFap was, thanks to many YT videos.

Even if I'm Catholic (despite the username), my desire for NoFap is not only for religious reasons but also because fapping betrayed my trust ! I just want to re-program my brain or something (I say it like that because I work in the IT).

I'm not starting a formal NoFap yet. I just need advice for now.

Hi welcome. Know that the 1st week can be difficult then it gets easier. Ask yourself what else could you be doing instead of watching porn? Know that life feels better without p, in fact its such a contrast that once you have tried it that will have an effect even if you relapse and start again. That feeling of life without p is what you seek. Take up a new sport or exercise and try some meditation or go to Church more. Best of luck.

Thank you. I'm actually seeking for a life without PMO. I think I suffer from post-orgasmic dysphoria.

But you're right, P is also a traitor. Porn is a traitor like heavy drinking. You're happy while consuming, and sad while withdrawal.

But I don't like O either, because actually, I like to have a high libido, even if it's painful I do like it, because it renders me more creative (I like to write music and philosophical writings). I experienced blue balls from a previous no-PMO attempt, and I felt very happy about it. I like to suffer physically as long as it has a symbolic or spiritual sense to me.
