Anyone from Poland?

Although being Swedish and not Polish, I have been to Poland three times over the past few years and I do really like the country, its food, old historic towns and patriotic people. Every time I have been there, it feels like actually being in a physically safe and genuine/real European country and not a messy third world nation (like it does in most of Western Europe these days).
In that sense, I am really jealous at the Poles and most Eastern Europeans as their nations are still preserved.

 

My great grandparents were from Poland, from Krakow if I'm not mistaken. We also had some relatives from Chelm.

 

I have a friend from Poland. First lived in the United States. Now in South Africa.
