So I've made it to 90 days without masturbating. I've not intentionally edged either although found myself unintentionally playing with myself on occasion, but stopped once I noticed.

As for porn I've done ok, the beginning was very hard as I battled deeply ingrained habits. The addition of internet filters helped a lot in the early stages, but in the last week or so I started to look again. A strong urge still exists, so I've set a new challenge for myself now to stay away from porn too. This gradual process has worked ok for me, perhaps it would have been easier had I reset my counter each time I viewed porn at all, but I'm happy with my progress.

Daily mindfulness meditation and regular yoga have been the bedrock of my recovery, including a 10 day vipassana retreat which I highly recommend to anyone battling with this program. They are free and held all over the world.

I've noticed a significant improvement in my relationships with women and have received a lot of positive feedback about my continuing character change.

I am grateful to the NoFap community for the continual inspiration I find here. We are pioneers of a sort, using the same technology that's fucked us for our recovery.

Good luck to everyone still struggling. We can recover!

  3. Congratulations man. Glad you're developed your character for the best. You're right about us being pioneers. We are the first generation to suffer from this new dangerous addiction, and also the first to break that addiction. Strength and patience to everyone

Probably not a big deal to many but now made 10 days without so much as looking at a single porn pic. Have opened up google a few times and typed in a search term and then caught myself before actually clicking on anything. Mind is starting to become tamed.

10 days of no porn. 100 days of no masturbation. This shit is actually possible! Go NoFap!

Damn starting relapsing again... funny how easily we slip, I think I just saw a bikini pic off a celebrity on the Daily Mail's sidebar of shame, before I know it I'm looking at celebrity leaks, then it escalates quickly into bondage videos.

This is not funny. Teach me to read articles on the Daily Mail.

I think what's important is that you have not masturbated. For me, as long as I don't masturbate and my mind is not teeming with fantasies, I'm good. Porn serves masturbation that's why it's bad. But you should nevertheless stay away from it. What's wrong with k9 web protection?

Yeah still frustrated with myself for the slip. Amazed how quickly I've gone back to videos. I have to remember this is an addiction. I am powerless over it. I just need to fess up, acknowledge the slip and keep on with my spiritual and self-improvement work.

I've reinstalled filters. Clearly I cannot be trusted to have access to the open internet for a while. Not that it really stops me but it can slow me down enough to regain sanity.
