So I already read the word "nofap" out there in the internet but never looked into it deep.
Recently I discovered a couple of friends of mine were doing this "nofap", were commenting about "flatlines" and some vocabulary I did not quite understood.
So I looked for info, got here and well, read a few posts and all.
In my initial 20s, still a virgin and had not many sexual interactions with girls, just a couple time kissed. Have a few female friends since having entered uni 2 years ago nonetheless.
Now, this is a hello there post so I'm not gonna expand more.
I just wanted to try what it would be for my body to go without masturbation for a time [I actually study medical-related stuff], I don't have an addiction on porn nor I watch fucked up stuff.
Sometimes I fap once per day in 3 days in a row and sometimes I go 3 days in a row without fapping. So I think I am not addicted.

But nonetheless wanted to try it. Will post in the 30 days challenge thread. See you here.

Well, even if it is only to develop self-discipline, this will give you strength to accomplish more I think. BTW, I hade sex at 21 the first time, been married 25 years with kids, so no worries.

  3. Hey man welcome to the community, Ive been In your place as well also. Ive been struggling porn for about 5 years and now Im recovering from it. It took some people to help me to where I am today. I might be hard at first but don't worry, It will be worth it in the end.

These are the things that I can tell you that Helped me:
    1. If you feel ashamed about telling someone about you addiction, Talk on here until you feel like your ready to.
2.Keep your mind on other things (Go to the park,Hangout with your friends, etc.) So when you feel like your about to relapse you can take your attention off of porn and redirect it to something productive.
    3. Finally, Know that your not ALONE and you got a community here. Where here for you type to one of us or post threads on the forums if you really want to talk about something.

These are the things that helped me so far but Know that "There will be pain in the night but joy will come in the morning." - Psalm 30.5
