    I'm 21 (M). I started NoFap on January 3rd, 2019.
    Didn't have sex (virgin).

    My first streak was 75 days, after that, I couldn't manage more than 15 days.
    The thing that BOTHERS me SO MUCH (so much that I'm going to bold it:emoji_grin:) is that when I relapse I either don't cum at all or I just cum a little bit. I still get an orgasm and since I started NoFap orgasms are much much stronger. I expected that my semen volume would increase as well but it's opposite.
    When I used to PMO every day I would cum like crazy sometimes, depending on how horny I was. But now even tho I am hornier than ever before I barely cum at all when I relapse.
    Another thing that bothers me is that I cum after 10 seconds when I relapse, can't even last longer than 10 secs...
    Did my body get used to not having a release or something on that 75-day streak?
    I'm really concerned, don't know what to do...

    Sperm cells need about 72 days (two and a half months) to be created, mature, and get ejaculated or reabsorbed. Sperm counts are maximized after about 5 days of abstinence days. If one wants to achieve max sperm count and quality one would abstain for 72 days and then ejaculate every 4–7 days. Long abstention periods lower sperm count. It's just the way it is. When you start MB more frequently sperm count goes up again, so nothing to worry about.

    @iGag , any improvement in your erectile health and mental benefits since starting NoFap?

  4. there is only one reason that you relapse. Not the triggers, not your urges. IT IS YOU! YOU DON'T WANT TO DO NOFAP SO YOU DO PMO INSTEAD! You are not dedicated enough so you end up failing. NOTHING IS STOPPING OR MAKING YOU TO DO PMO, OTHER THAN YOURSELF. Nobody is pointing a gun at you to either fap or die. NO DUDE! It is an obsession and you choose porn. The door to heaven is always opened, but just that you don't want to leave hell. If this the case then I can't help.

    Good luck on your reboot journey

    @Fenix Rising

    Thank you. I was freaking out that maybe something was wrong with my semen production...

    @Anonymous86

    I never had problems with erection. Now for the mental benefits... That is actually the reason I relapsed a few times in the past two months.
    When I started NoFap I was so motivated after reading all success stories and about benefits, attraction, all the stuff people talk about...
    But for me after those 75 days nothing much changed, don't get me wrong I did improve my life so much (started cold showers, training 4 times a week, meditation 3 - 5 mins twice a day, better grades at University and just better as a person). The problem is that I got hyped so much about benefits that people talk about and since I didn't get any of them I got really depressed. I mean the only benefits I got on that 75-day streak were more energy and maybe a bit more confidence and that's all, nothing crazy like I was reading about.
    I lost motivation but I didn't give up, I knew that I still wanted to do NoFap because I felt tired and weak after every relapse. But when hard urges hit you and your only reason not to fap is that you will feel tired tomorrow, well that's not a strong reason not to fap or something that will work with my brain. The urge would destroy me after 2 - 3 days of fighting it.
    So that explains my relapses. @Believing is half of the healing is right, It's not the urges, it's not the triggers, I trade 10 mins of pleasure for few days of being tired and weak and having headaches because I don't really have the reason to do NoFap other than more energy.

    But after last relapse (2 days ago) I realized something. I realized that I'm a fucking slave to my brain and to sexual pleasure.
    I DON'T WANT TO BE A FUCKING SLAVE, that means I'm gonna fight, that is my new MOTIVATION, that is my new WHY to do NoFap.
    I had the wrong approach to NoFap, I did it because of the benefits I heard about, I don't need freaking benefits.
    The only benefit I want is NOT TO BE A SLAVE and for that, I'm gonna fight again with this shitty addiction, I found the new motivation that I lost after those 75 days, now I'm going into the battle with a new mindset. I can't promise that I won't fall again, but one thing I can promise is that if I fall I will come back stronger and angrier every time because I AIN'T NOBODY'S FUCKING SLAVE.

    So...once I get to 90 days plus, right, because I don't plan on PMO'ing ever again and have no plans for gf or O'ing with a partner otherwise... does that mean that a wet dream after 90+ days is a good thing? Or at least not a bad thing? (because of where you mentioned sperm count & quality)

    @DaveyCrockett

    Why do you think that wet dream before 90 days is bad thing ?

    Because you lose some of your progress on your days when you are still new, yes?

    Wet dreams won't hurt your progress...I thought that this was generally known already?

    Like @Anonymous86 said, I also think they won't hurt your progress. I look at them as something natural that your body does.
    You don't have much control when you sleep and since you are not bombarding your brain with dopamine from porn you will probably be ok.
    I saw some other people say that KEGELS helped them stopping wet dreams if you don't like them.

    Has your semen volume increased meanwhile? Suddenly happened to me after a long streak. Normally I would spray around that jizz.

    @Trinere I don't know, I only relapsed once since I started this thread.
    That one time was nothing special, lower than before.

    Read the reply from Fenix on this thread.

    I guess body is like "If he's not using it frequently, why would I create it".
