I am a student and spend most of my day working hard on my Laptop. I work a lot every day and every night when I sleep, I have one regret that is of using porn or masturbation.
So I decided to restrain myself from PMO and start a new life, but I know it will be so difficult as most of the time I am alone with my laptop and Internet connection. It is always hard to restrain when nobody is around. I look forward to learning from the experience of others on this website.

Hi Organgebeard, It is super mature of you to make this decision so early. Every older fapstronaut will testify that it gets worse over time. Making the journey back harder and harder. So keep up the good work! You can do it!

PS: have you considered apps or DNS Servers that block porn? PMO happens mostly in a brief wave of urges and giving yourself an extra barrier might be a good choice if you're alone often.

I have used apps like Kaspersky to block porn content, but along with porn, it blocks some of the useful websites. Also, I had no one to keep the password for me to unlock the app block. So I had the password with me only, which was also not useful as I could unblock at any time.

Yes, if you yourself are the only one who has the password is it not going to work.. Have you considered telling someone that you deeply trust? It is of course very shameful but I really noticed it helps if you let someone in on your addiction. The first step with the AA isn't 'admitting it' for no reason. It helps.
