Why is nofap like time travel?

It literally feels like im jumping between different time periods while at it. It never feels like im in 2019. It literally seems like i exist out of time and space. Wtf? Its so weird, like im in a stasis or smth. Days come and go and it all feels the same, life time is frozen.

Before nofap, i was very aware of time and it stressed me a lot. I knew that time was running out, that years are gone and im still a dirty little virgin but the more i did nofap the less i cared about time. probably because im so cut off from the world that my brain calibrated to its own time and space settings different from the rest. Like my own reality of smth. Its strange but it works better than stressing over stuff beyond your control.

 

It's the other way for me PMO addiction makes time fly for me i don't care about anything life feels like i am dreaming things it just passes so quickly , i lost sensation of time , but everytime i start a streak my brainfog gets less and i start to feel reality and time a bit more .

 

I also feel like time moves differently since I started nofap. I still have withdrawals so it might be that. It feels like I'm living in the past and present and future all at once
