I got Reddit just to join /nofap for encouragement to stop my obsessive, compulsive addiction to PMO. It didn't work as after about 20 days, I relapsed.. Hard! So I deleted reddit.

Well, I'm back. But in the period of time, I have spent time reading up on my addiction. I have come to understand how H.A.L.T. (hungry, angry, lonely, tired) are my triggers. How I have come to believe lies about myself, that affect my values and consequently my behaviour in PMO.

Finally, I have come to realize I need a proper hard reset so I quit WhatsApp (profile picture scrolling), Twitter, Insta amd FB.

There's a girl I'm interested in and would like to review my mind and feelings in December. But first, I need to clear the fog, have my brain rebooted and kick this habit for good so as to be sure about her and a relationship with her

I'm now 23 days in. Committed to a life of no porn and masturbation.

I logged off Twitter and temporarily deactivated my FB and Insta. I spent several years garnering up followers and friends so I would feel an immense loss in ending it all.

But I wonder, what's more important to me... a proper reboot or maintaining the condition of my chains?

I guess I need to drum up the courage to delete and not just quit.

    Thanks!
