    Hi everybody!

    I am 20 years old and I have masturbated since I was 13 and I wan´t to stop.

    I have tried a few months now and my longest without pom was 21 days. All my other tries have been like max five days, the strange thing is whenever I get the urge to watch porn and masturbate a little devil inside of me says that it´s ok and that this time will be the last. But I have been there many times and I know deep inside that, that last time is not going to be the last but hundreds of more times will be the last. :(

    I very much feel like when I decide to stop pom then the firs day is easy, or not easy but less difficult. But the second and third day is terrible.

    The last day of 2013 I decided to have a last fap before a pom free 2014, but I fail, I failed hard. I only lasted one day and I have been quite depressed the last two weeks, with many attempts to stop pom. My longest without pom these last two weeks of the new year have only been three whole days. And now I very upset that my new year's promise filed.

    I am on day two now and I very much want to stop this bad habit.

    Hi art, welcome. I try to welcome newbies here, but there are so many I cannot keep up. I can tell from your post you have not studied your problem. You have a dopamine problem. Porn is the button we push to release dopamine.

    Read it, understand your problem, get tools to help you fight it. Too many of us just say one day "I am quitting", but they have not planned or prepared for quitting. It took us years to become addicted to porn; you can't just casually walk away, but quitting can be done. Almost 6 months porn/PMO/MO free here, and I am never going back.

    Choose to succeed, not choose to fail. Make a plan, eliminate porn entirely from your existence. I know that is hard to imagine, but really, porn has no value, so giving it up costs you nothing. You cannot keep it in your life and beat this problem
