Starting again - new commitment

Hey guys, would you give me some advices or motivations to going back into this path? Im about 5 days before relapsed and im feeling hopeless,unmotivated and unconfident.
Or you can give me a big reason why i must free from PMO, based on your valuable experiences about this journey.

For me, it was a life change on the day, I found NoFap last year after 6 years of PMO. The first day I didn‘t do PMO was a great day and the other ones too of course. It was like, I was leaving a jail.

I began to see the world from a better point of view. I enjoyed my hobby's much more, even the school. Also, I enjoyed the smallest things.

I remember the last day of summer vacation last year. Actually, I was looking forward to go back to school. From that day, I knew NoFap was the right thing to do.

But then came the relapses and always felt badly. But I always learned from them and always stood up. I think it was good they happened to me. I learned so much about myself the last year.

Lately, I had the worst relapse, after 40 days. I felt so badly and for one week I couldn’t believe what happened. I was so confident that it will never happen again.

Today, I think it was good that it happened but still feel some pain. Now, I‘m really scared that it will happen again.


So, in my opinion, it is really really worth it. It‘s also super hard but everyone can do it. And you of course too.

If you have urges: take a cold shower, go outside, stay away from the internet (and set up the PMO tracker)

I think we need to realize that the incredible burst of energy, joy, or whatever that happens when we first swear off PMO eventually goes away. That may not be true for everyone, but boy was I Mr. Energy and Focus when I first swore of PMO. Then life decided to step in. It's been a fucking struggle. I may fail, but I will never quit. Keep at it!!

 

Day 17. Big urge at the moment but I‘m trying to distract myself. Yesterday, it worked great so it has to work today, too.

As i mentioned before, i have been pursuing a streak of 30 days NoFap. But i am craving now. The spoiled part of me constantly induces me to break my commitment. And i feel like this voice is louder and stronger time by time. Especially this morning, i watched a hot scene in movie, i was tempted. Luckily, i overcame it.
But i am afraid that i can not keep my promise because 22 days are awaiting me. Just 8 days nofap lasted as long as a century.
Please give me some encouraging words. I am grateful to you.

My suggestion is everytime the urge come, you do some push up bro. You are stronger than this. You have come this far it is something that I respect so much. Dont f***** give up. The P will just make our life feel misarable over and over again. Dont give up bro.

 

You have to remember the feeling in your body after PMO. It‘s like nothing happened. The only thing that will happen is that you feel miserable because the 8 days were for nothing. That‘s it.

Distract yourself as hard as you can! Take a cold shower! Don‘t let the urge win. Be yourself!

Watched a documentary about porn and its industry yesterday. Now I know that I never want to watch porn again for the rest of my lifetime.

Many women are forced to do things they don‘t want to do. If you click on a porn, you may support that.

If you have urges think about that and compare it to child labor. Don‘t support companies which don‘t care about the physical and mental health of people.

 

It is certainly a struggle and it's enough to deter many from ever truly trying. Its tiring and depressing. But the difference between yourself and many others on here is that you do dust yourself of and you do try again. Keep fighting

 

What a great ideals. Understanding what porn do harm to this world ethically will give us one more certain reason to get rid of it.
