Hello my name is gabi, and I’ve turned 16 a month ago, I am addicted to porn since 5th grade ( I know it’s a total shame) And as years passed by I became more aware of myself and my addiction, I have started to understand the effects of porn on my life and how can it damage it. I’ve tried to stop and recover but I couldn’t do that, I didn’t have the courage to share my struggles with my friends or other older people, and every time I finished with my “things” I felt bad and guilty (I forgot to mention that I’m Jewish), I would like someone to have a talk with me about that and help me to fight my addiction:

Hey guys It’s been 5 days without PMO, I had a few light urges and I got over it, I feel that I can share my struggle with other close people around me... should I do so?...

If these close people can understand your feelings and will not make fun of it.Then tell them but don't tell the family it will not be a good idea.

I mean, I’m not afraid to share this with the older members of my family, it’s just that I don’t know how they can assist me, I can tell my former teacher, in our school the educational team is encouraging us to share feelings and difficulties, and my close friends are not feeling shame to talk about the subject so... I think that you said right, thanks
