Instagram is the number one cause of my relapses. What's a good way to avoid this. I don't wanna be tempted to do some early morning browsing.

  2. It sounds really simple, and it is, stay off Instagram.
There will be a time when it doesn't affect you, at least if you don't go searching for what you are needing to stay away from.
But that time is not now. Just don't go there.

Do you realy 'need' Instagram? I did delete it some time ago and it decreased my urges immensely. If you know it is one of your triggers I think the best thing to do is just delete it for some time. IMO your mental health is more important than social media.

Life is out there, experience it yourself instead of browsing on social media and only always see the most happy and best side of people. That is how I look at it.

I know other people already said to delete it, but I will say it again, DELETE Instagram and all social medias besides YT. The reason why you should keep YT is that there are a ton of NoFap advice videos and other NoFap related stuff that can really help you. Although there are a ton of triggers on YT, you can prevent it by using restricted mode if you want. If you ever get a trigger or an urge to fap, take a cold shower, I promise you it will help to kill the urge. Hope this helped you out a little.

  5. You have 2 options
1: Totally delete Instagram and stop using it
2: Just block or unfollow the accounts with triggers.
I use insta, but I don't check any accounts that trigger me

  6. Once upon a time, I removed my precious instagram account, I never looked back. I was triggered twice after that like after months but I dont care about it now.

  7. Instagram explore is the devil, all it ever showed for me was very triggering pictures, I’ve deleted Instagram for sometime now trust me it is needed if you want to improve your chances of a good streak

I would just take a break from insta and reevaluate in a couple months. The triggers could disappear once you are further down on your recovery. Just like my phone, the internet, and tv those triggers don’t really fire me up anymore but they use to when I started.

I don't consider insta as a trigger, my insta feeds are pretty clean from sexual content (I only search for cats, martial arts, and weapons). I need it at this moment, there are lots of college info at there.

If you need to insta without finding any trigger, go search some safe content (cats, crafts, foods, etc), and ignore the trigger, the insta algorithm will follow
