I have had chronic depersonalization for a little over 10 years now. In the Depersonalization Manual by Shaun O'Connor (HIGHLY recommend) he mentions that during recovery, all porn should be avoided, which is how I found out about the NoFap community. I just want to ask if anyone here has successfully cured depersonalization, or if anyone has had it as long as I have. I constantly read posts where sufferers complain about the condition after having experienced it for only a few months. It's terrible, and I certainly sympathize, but 10 years is quite a bit longer than the majority of posts that I have read. After implementing a lot of the strategies that are outlined in the Depersonalization Manual, I have been feeling much better, but I know that I have a long way to go. For example, I no longer have panic attacks, but I still have trouble concentrating and feeling complete emotions. I'm hoping that a 120-day hard mode reboot will heal my dopamine receptors and lift my brain fog enough for me to be able to concentrate and feel emotions completely. 32 days in, and so far no luck.
