I started with porn when I was 12 years old. As with most people, it started off mild (no more than a few times a week) but now I've gotten to the point where it could be as often as twice a day. I've tried to stop before; several times, in fact. Now, I'm going to try again. I hope I can actually win this time.

A side note: what is the motivation for most of the people here? (religion?)

I’m happy that you and our community realized this as an addiction. My motivation at first was women, but now it’s just to stop feeling like cool. Every time after I jack off I feel terrible and this blanket of shame just covers me completely. I do it for myself and and for my social anxiety and to stop my negativity complex. Day 38 and I’ve really improved. If you really are 16 right now I’m really glad you’ve seen the damage porn has done to you and to the many people here on the nofap forum. We’re heee with you all the way brother!

    Welcome Man : )

Congrats on coming here, a few advices :

A relpase isn't scary, not knowing why is...
A reboot is for mind and body, stop PMO and brainwash yourself reading Healthy life style and stuff.
Targeting rebooting from TCM point of view was of great help to me.
Lastly don't put yourself under too much pressure.

I wish you an interesting journey ;)
