    Hey guys,

this is my second time doing this (first time doing it concious) and I don’t really get those heavy withdrawal symptoms many people report about. Not this time. Not the first time I quit masturbation and I had 70+ day streak the first time. People report about insomnia but I actually fell tired all the time instead and I start sleeping a bit better again. I had some light headaches the past few days, some problems with my concentration, some negative thoughts here and there and I’m a bit more horny than usual. But people report about things way worse than this. I’m not even sure if it’s NoFap because I quit Weed also.

I’ve been masturbating for most of my life and also quite frequently.(1-3 times a day) and watching porn for a long time. Is it possible some people just push through without major withdrawal symptoms?

I don't get many negative withdrawals either, in fact stopping weed gave me more withdrawal (night sweats) and that stuffs meant to be non addictive. Count yourself lucky and keep going.

Yes, in fact each person has many variables that cannot be measured. Some go through intense withdrawal and some experience minor withdrawal symptoms. Some may even not have any symptoms at all! It doesn't mean that your recovery is not working.

    Hey pepsi,

Keepitreal and mgz have a point.
We don't look "physically" alike with other people, right ?
I think it's the same for our neurological pathways responsibles for withdrawal symptoms.

    Cheers bro ;)

How is your hair? Is it thinning or have you lost a significant amount of hair?

My hair started thinning out pretty early in my life but it’s been the same ever since. There’s no changes in density nor quantity of hair.

    Little update on this.

Yesterday on day 10 withdrawal symptoms hit me hard. I had a few sexual dreams the days before that but I still felt great. But yesterday I felt tired, low energy, moody, my mind felt foggy and I had massive urges. Today I still feel pretty low. But I keep pushing through.

I usually don't get withdrawals until the end of the second week. That's when "the party" starts and it lasts for 3-4 months.

It's not uncommon to have withdrawals. Yet it is somewhat uncommon to have them to the extreme or none at all..
    It also depends on genes

You also see this in benzo withdrawal

  11. I doubt it! If you used to overflood your brain with dopamine related substances and then decide to stop. You will have withdrawals for sure. For instance, if you are deep or long pmo addict, withdrawals will be more severe and last longer than a mild user.

It probably depends on how bad your addiction got. I totally lost it 2 years back indulging in hours long daily PMO binges for nearly a year after I buried my parent, lost a partner and my job plus had never ending stressful open court case all happening in 6 months time frame. It really FU my brain. I didn't experience this kind of euphoria/deep depression during my current streak. Previous 6 months monk streak must have healed my brain some extend, even if it ended in 3 months binge.

  13. That's my big one. I used to have long hair, and it was badass. Repeated PMO killed it.

Well I had some minor headaches and I felt a bit low in the beginning. Then I started to feel way better. Now it’s like the urges are kicking in and I start to feel stuff more intense again. Negatives and positives. Today I’m doing a bit better.

But I also admit that I was never a heavy user. I never spent hours binging on porn nor did I spent absurd amounts of time fapping my life away. But it became more of a routine the past few months and I started to feel ambitionless and empty.
