DAY 111 of my life-bettering journey: Thursday, July 18, 2019 Morning Cold Showers (73 days so far): Cold showers became automatic. Once I have my breakfast, I go under the shower without thinking about it. That's the power of habits! Quitting Refined Sugar (18 days so far): I'm doing good so far with this challenge. Cravings diminished drastically during the last few days. My main source of sugar is currently fruits. I'm actually still thinking of re-implementing my intermittent fasting challenge as it would help me a lot staying away from sugar. However, I don't feel ready yet.
DAY 112 of my life-bettering journey: Friday, July 19, 2019 Morning Cold Showers (74 days so far): The weather was hot today! What a refreshing shower. Quitting Refined Sugar (19 days so far): Today I was invited to eat a slightly sweet food. I didn't refuse to eat but I didn't count it as a relapse for two reasons. The first is that I was invited, I didn't do it on purpose. The second is that I won't eat sugar this weekend.
i heard that habits are always there.. bad or good..and that our human life is ruled by two things: habits and a quest of well being, but as u said implementing a new good one is the key though it may be hard,
Hello buddy, how are you doing? You're totally right. And it's hard, as you said. Now that I've tried it, I figured out it's a perpetual fight against the self. It's not something that you aim for and finish by a deadline. Implementing the good and eliminating the bad is a quest. A quest for life. Take care and stay strong!
DAY 113 of my life-bettering journey: Saturday, July 20, 2019 Morning Cold Showers (75 days so far): I wasn't home today, but I managed to take my cold shower! Quitting Refined Sugar (20 days so far): A lot of questions pop out in my head, as for if it's really worth it to stay with this challenge. My mind is playing me tricks, like it did before with other habits.
Definitely stay with the quitting Sugar thing! I will have to implement something similar, as I noticed how the excessive suger messes with my brain and body. Really amazing that you did 20 days already!! Good luck!
