I don't want to go on like this forever.

    I relapsed the day before yesterday and then yesterday too. I just can't seem to get out of this cycle of misery. It can't go like this forever. I commit to a streak but after 2-3 weeks I relapse and feel depressed and shit.
    Even after knowing all the harmful shit it does to my brain and body, I just can't stop. Delaying gratification has been difficult for me. "Never give up" I don't know how to do that.
    I am started to believe this addiction will destroy me and I'll do nothing but watch as it does. I keep giving in and letting down myself and people close to me. There seems no hope for me.
    There is only one way to get rid of this parasite which is to do something drastic to have such a profound effect that it never tries to come back in my life.
    I'll think about what that change could be until then I'll keep my head up and watch out for the urges to not slip me into this cycle of misery.

    Keep your chin up brother. There's only one thing that anybody on noFap should look out for and that's the dreaded 0. The moment when you're 89 day streaks is ruined and goes back to nil. Nada. Nothing. It's a terrible feeling, and perhaps I wouldn't know the full extent of it having only just begun my journey in earnest after relapsing constantly on streaks less than a week, but it's all about saying, "Fuck the zero."

    why don't you just do it like golf.

    each month you get a 5'er, a 4 stroke, a 3 stroke.

    meaing you did it 5 times that month or 4 times. or a hole in one, one time.

    i guess you can't get a zero in golf but a zero should be impossible in NoFap too if you have any T levels at all
