    What helped me was:
Omega 3 - fish oil daily, lots of it
    Vitamin B complex
    Vitamin D3
    Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc
    plus lots of fruits, vegetables

I also couldn't do it without an hour of aerobic exercise (running, cycling) six times and weightlifting three times a week in my early days of recovery (first 3-4 months). I went through hell anyway (insomnia, flu like symptoms, crazy mood swings, depression, anxiety, joints pain, fatigue, anhedonia), but I wouldn't make it without supplements and exercise. I was quite a bad case (25 years of binge compulsive MO problems and 17 years of daily binge PMOing) so maybe others will have it easier. I'm still depressed/anxious plus anhedonia is a real B..., but I got rid of other physical symptoms.

I believe it was intense, prolonged exercise that got me into my position of advanced fatigue in the first place. So unfortunately exercise hinders instead of helping. I've been hoping that Nofap was the answer, thinking 22 years of near-daily PMO may have actually been the culprit.

I always need 4-5 months of monk mode to come out of extreme fatigue state. It's normal that you feel extremely tired because our bodies enter in a state of dopamine deficiency and our cortisol levels rise during recovery. Addicted brain needs at least 6 months (250 days on average -> 185-314 days, 6.2 sd) of abstinence to regrowth dopamine receptors and gray matter in prefrontal cortex. But it can take up to 60-70 weeks in worst measured cases -> May 24, 2019

I've been in a monk mode for 6 + 7 months with 3-4 months long relapse in between and I'm still not out of the woods. This shit takes time.

I know I need to be quiting PMO because clearly that is my issue from experience but I cannot wonder if I am not over training as well.?? and if sexual exhaustion is real surely excessive excercise should make the physical symptoms even worse?

Hi, when you mention "extreme fatigue state", what were your symptoms, how severe was it and what has recovery been like?

I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome many years ago, and honestly thought that that was what I had for many years, until the penny dropped that I was fapping waayyy too much. I could barely do a thing for long periods of time because i was just too exhausted, and have come close to loosing my job because of this. Things are better now, but far from perfect because I haven't managed to go Monk mode for long enough...

I don't know how exactly to describe it. Total lack of energy, everything seemed hard to do, brain fog (hard to focus), joints pain, chronic headaches, insomnia, depression, anxiety. It's like having bad case of cold or flu for months. I get this every time for 4-5 months when I do monk mode reboot.

Yes, can attest that all that went away for me when I took back the reigns and control of my life: all of it. There is PLENTY to look forward to!

Is monk mode absolutely necessary? I have a gf it's difficult to achieve this and keep her. I did manage to have sex two days ago and actually not organsam but it's a very hard job

30 to 45 days clean - your brain, your junk, the muscles that are sore from hours of wanking and tensing will stop bothering you, improve in appearance and strength; your eyesight will rebound from the strain we put them under watching hours of P and fatiguing them. You'll begin to see improvements after a couple of weeks, but the real progress is obtained from longer streaks. The short cycle of streaks is helpful, but doesn't make a meaningful difference when you go back to P for a day or two in between them.
