    Hey all,

I'm a 24yo. male who has been struggling with porn addiction since I was around the age of 12. 12 years is a long time and I am so ready to get rid of it out of my life! My usage of porn has been one of those big-secrets for me that affect my life and my own relations with others negatively as well as my own ability to fully think and act like a human being. I am struggling with quitting porn to live a more free life and more fulfilling life, and to follow what God has in store for me.

I want to live a PMO free life that will allow me to return to a normal life. I am coming to you all for help as I know that having others' support will go a long way.

In the past I was able to abstain from porn for about a year, but relapsed at age 18/19. Since then I have had limited success and now am caught in a cyclical relapse of 1-2 weeks of viewing pornography. Just this past week I fell again, but I do not want it to discourage me. I am already in a better place here and any good step forward is another success.

Thank you all in advance for any and all help! I will be praying for you as well!

  5. Hey welcome to the forum! Nice to have you alongside us fighting the good fight! : )

I strongly advise you to be active on your profile; start by choosing an avatar and then make daily posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you
    encouragement/support.

You should also highly consider creating a public journal (in the appropriate section[<-- link] for you ) and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along on your journey!

★People love to communicate in the profiles section and also the journal section. These are 2 of the most important sections. Also, we could always use your helpin supporting members around the forum and in return you most likely will receive some as well!

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
