Of course I don't recommend watching porn even if your not masturbating. But I feel like the damage would be pretty low if your only looking at it and not masturbating to it, and the real damage would be caused from masturbating to porn.

But I think it's obvious when your looking at porn and watching porn. But the more complicated thing I have an issue with is social media, dating sites ext. Now of course I don't think you should masturbate at images of women on these sites. But some guys literally think you can't even look at images of women on these sites.

If you can't even look at images of women on social media or a dating site, then how are you supposed to have friends on social media who are female? How are you supposed to be able to find a woman online to date?

  2. You pose a good question. But the reality is that mastrubation is not the catalyst of the problem. Porn is what is damaging alot of what you see, feel and think about. I believe both have negatives, but what is going to stay is what can not be erased and that is porn.

your brainwave is the same when you're watching porn and taking heroin. I think you might know the answer already

I think having a GF or someone you can spend you time with can help you alot. You can keep yourself occupied with them and not think about Porn. But you need to clarify this to yourself that your GF is not just for sex as alot of porn addicts think soo. Think of them as a partner who is going to make your life easier.

No. The real damage is from watching it. The dopamine comes from watching. This is why you usually watch a lot of P before MO. Moreover, you feed your brain with a lot of dirty images that will come back in your head again and again. So I would say the big deal is watching not MO'ing. Of course I don't say MO'ing is not bad, I just thing the worst is P that's all. I thing this is also what scientists say.

  7. The danger is how it manipulates society and makes it addicted and brainwashed to it

I'd either turn it off if I started feeling aroused by it, or I would be masturbating to it.

    I perso
I understand not looking at porn movies. But what I have an issue with is not being aloud to be on social media, dating sites ext.

To me this is pretty much the same. Basically you look at arousing materials to have some dopamine. Maybe it is just "soft P" but for your brain I thing it is the same.

Of course, as it has been said:

there is "looking" and "looking". I personally avoid social media in order not to get aroused (I still have friend don't worry ;)) but this is temporary. I will allow myself to go back on those site once I'm cured (don't know when...). Still, social media are full of arousing material (even P !). This is a big issue because you don't want to say there are P site. But at the very least they should be avoid during your reboot. You can deactivate the images while browsing. This is a good solution in my opinion :)

  10. This is very deceptive statement, your brain activity can look like you are on heroin when you eat a stake, kissing your partner, getting massage, giving a hug or taking a leak.
You are making massive lapse in judgement by assuming there is BAD brain activity associated with bad things. There is no such thing.

Narcotics like heroin, stimulate same reward systems in the brain that would normally get stimulated when you do rewarding things, which means doing anything rewarding would look like you are taking heroin, but more appropriate way to put it would be that heroin effects on the brain mimic activity patterns of pleasurable experiences.

So in actuality, taking heroin produces brain activity that makes it seem like you are watching porn, or having sex, not the other way around.
