    If you suffer from depression, no rule will make it easier for you to do stuff. Solve the depression and then things fill into place, you will follow a one second rule without noticing it.

    Depends on how serious it is. Yes, some people are so depressed that they just simply can't get themselves to do anything. Some can't even get out of the bed. These people need constant support and proffessional help. But it's not as bad for everyone. Some depressed people can force themselves to do things and for them doing more things could even help them with their depression. Although I wouldn't say that doing more things would in any way replace proffessional help.
