Can you quit alone? Are my symptoms reversible?

    Hi guys so I have made a thread before on the forums during my examination season last year, the stress from university plus my addiction to pornography led to me failing the year and feeling really lost causing a relapse where i started watching porn daily again. Latley I have noticed a decrease in confidence, loss of intrest in talking to people, loss of focuss and feeling like a bit two faced. My family and friends think I set a very high moral standerd however I have this addiction that none of them know about. I have been struggling with this for 5 years now.

    I was wondering are the things I've mentioned are things anyone here has been through and if so did they ever fully recover them?
    And also I really do not want anyone to know about my addiction is it possible to quit alone? for ex. using nofap, vpns and adding healthier habbits.

    I understand that this is a very repeated question but it will make me feel better getting a personal response i hope that makes sense thanks for reading my thread.

    You most definetly can mate. However it has to be from a genuine place of rejection of Porn and mastubation (not demonizing the latter tough). For me porn is disgusting. Do some research about the industry. I don't know if you're the type but after knowing all that those girl were and are going through, it strenghtened my resolve to quit. But for you, you have to know what you really want. A fulfilling life ? Real friends ? Love ? Confidence ? It's just about choice. Really. And i won't lie to you it's hard as fuck as the beginning. But you know what ? The price you pay for staying in this addiction is even worse. This shit is hell. There's not a good thing about PMO. It's just like sugar or cigarrette or every addictive substance out there. It feels great for 2 seconds, then you find yourself constantly going back for more, destroying a little bit of yourself each time. I congratulate you for your 67 days streak.     Sorry that nofap counter is incorrect I haven't even been free for 1 week. I just reset it I am starting to quit from today I wil check this course you have recomended Also can I pm you asking about this course? thanks for the reply man and Darren bro I understand you man

    You can quit. But you will Feel like you can’t.

    Nofap was the best thing that ever happened to me.

    I have done porn for 25 years.
    Now I say it took 25 years of trying to quit.

    But with nofap that happened in only a few months.

    Being able to relate to other addicts in a group environment is what helped me.
    Journaling helped me.
    Replacing the old habits with physical ones (gym, exercise dieting, cooking) cured my curiosity and boredom.

    You definitely can do it. It won't be easy but it is totally doable. NoFap is a great community. First know your enemy, learn how addiction works and you'll have good chances of defeating it. I advice you to watch these two YT channels and learn from them:
