I have extreme ocd and obsessions, that constant mind chatter.

For almost the last 2 years I have been so obsessed with nofap and porn free. But it's basically at the point it is the main thing I am constantly thinking about from the moment I wake up until I go to sleep. If I am being honest I am beginning to get really sick and fed up with it.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way?

Yep i used to feel exactly like that. The key is to fill your life with things. Go out and push yourself out of your comfort zone. Thatll take your mind off it.

I might need to stop taking this as seriously. It's beginning to really get to me.

We live in a digital world and it's impossible to completely avoid seeing images or videos of attractive women all the time.

    Thats not the issue.

If you compulsively search for women on a screen, then you need to do something with your life that gives you a goal and takes your mind off nofap.

Its not about taking it seriously or not. Your mind is screaming out for some meaning and purpose. That wont be fulfilled by abstaining from PMO. fill your life with things.

I'm with Bigz on this one. Stop focusing on the problem and start embracing a solution. Lifting weights and prodging out of physical fitness helped me out a TON when I started making huge life changes. It consumed a lot of mental space and gave me a lot to work on/focus on.

I also suffer from OCD, pure O type. It’s rough, I get it man , I really do.

I’m going in for therapy tomorrow, I encourage you to do the same.

Also, I’m going to go WAY outside of my comfort zone and go live. I’m going to go find friends locally that I can hang out with and do activities with. Everyone that I know is online except my roommate.

The one thing that’s always helped me is staying active. I think that’s key here, along with therapy possibly.

Most of us on here have addictive personalities (obviously!)… you have replaced your PMO addiction with NoFap addiction... a somewhat lesser evil

Can't handle the constant thoughts that keep coming in to my head almost all day every day about all this. It has went on for too long.

I get these obsessive thoughts with other things, but they usually always resolve them self much quicker. This isn't resolving it's self, and like I say it has went on for too long.

It's actually giving me suicidal thoughts. I feel like I need some sort of medication or something to calm these thoughts down.

    No you dont

I used to have the same thing

Fill your day with things. Youll meet new people, find new hobbies, and itll take your mind off nofap. Trust me, it works.

I know exactly how to feel. Been trying to quit for 2 years as well. I am on flatline now. So, the past 2 weeks has been easy for me.

I'm 53 years old... I've battled PMO fuelled by magazines, videos, DVDs and now the internet... it's extremely difficult and I constantly fall off the wagon... however, the struggle goes on and every day without PMO is a 'normal and healthy' day that the majority of the world enjoys...

Keep on going... we can all do this

I know how you feel; I'm constantly thinking about not fantasizing so my mind is never free
